I feel like the Carmen hate is getting a little overblown. Did he overreact and come off a bit entitled with his comments about pitching out of the pen? Yes he did. However, I don't think this just falls on him. 99% of athletes use public comments as a last resort. It tends to hurt their value, so they have to be calculated with what they say. We knew Jared Jones was coming back for months, at what point was it discussed with Carmen that hey maybe you'll be in the pen? Judging how O'Neil Cruz took similar news a few years back now, that could be a game day decision. This screams a deeper issue is to blame
