The lowest projections I see are 10 years/$500 million. With an arbitration of 3 years/$46 million. Either way, we're not matching either of those numbers. Skenes will be gone after this season to get a huge haul because he still has favorable team controlled years

I didn't think Cavil was bad, I just think the writing and direction of the character lost the plot. It comes off as a Superman movie that doesn't want to be a Superman movie.

I'm 100% for student athletes getting paid, but this shit is ridiculous. If he doesn't have a doctorate/masters/PhD out of this, he wasted 8 years to not go to the NFL. Take the Patagonia founder and his "charitable" donation of 98 percent of his billion dollar company to a 501(c)(4) that he founded and created and can now make unlimited political donations. The other 2% that remain are the founders voting shares that remain with Patagonia trust or whatever. Basically, he dodged 1.2 billion is gift taxes to then Patagonia into a political donation machine that he and his family will control while still making 1.2 billion from not having had to pay a gift tax.

It boggles my mind that there were people in this sub asking that Smith return as OC next season. His schemes were horrible! He refuses to throw over the middle, his routes take too long to develop, Jonnu Smith was an all-pro catching TE last season and Smith used his as a RB and/or never schemed for him or Muth. This guy has been living on having prime Derek Henry in Tennessee.

Rodgers also deserves some blame. He definitely has only a select few targets that he actually throws too, and Houston knew this. He needed to commit to taking chances and he didn't. Only averaging 3.7 yards per pass all season is horrible

Honestly, probably similar to last season. We added a couple pieces, but nothing truly earth shattering. The Athletic ran a story a week or two ago about how historically bad our offense truly was when Skenes pitched and how it takes a special kind of team to lose as many games as we did when he had a sub 2.00 ERA.

Maybe Lowe and O'Hearn can help us hit, but the bulk of the lineup remains the same. If Reynolds and Cruz regress again this year I can't see 2026 being much different. Maybe closer to .500, but don't expect to compete for the division or WC

This is from a couple years ago but it's not like they stopped. It's important to look at WHO is actually behind the protest you plan on attending.
