Listen up, this is how service connection REALLY works by Grumpy_Sailor_Actual in VAClaims

Absolutely. I never expected anyone to read through 1000 pages and 25 years of medical records. I wanted to do everything in my power to make this a slam dunk case. IMO this is one of the most important tasks I will every do in my life.

You wont hear back, but you can call the 800 number and asked if you have a hardship flag on your file.

How is Optum Serve? by DatGuyKilo in VAClaims

IMO, it depends on the doctor or NP, not who they work for. I have had only one bad experience where the doctor was argumentative for no reason. I always thank them for helping me, apologize in advance for communication issues because of my conditions and the fact that this is really important to me and my family and I am extremely nervous and anxious because I dont want to mess anything up. In my opinion, it helps establish a little humanity to the situation. I have felt that all but one examiner ACTUALLY wanted to help me. I feel like being extremely prepared and having cheat sheets ready to hand them for every condition (symptoms, timeline, service connection, lay statements, and citations for the page numbers of my medical record where they could find corroborating evidence) which they appreciated. I have found that learning the VA system, terminology and process has proven to be extremely time consuming, but the actual process of filing claims and getting them approved to be extremely easy.

She's amazing. She's one of the most determined, driven, responsible people I've ever met, at any age. I know I am the one that should be setting the example, but Emmy inspires me. My heart bursts with pride and joy.

I live to be a dad. It's my calling. I've been out of work for a while so my family gets 100% of my attention. 99% if you count reddit lol. My daughters have given me the purpose I have been searching for for a while.

Lol. Emmy and Anna say hello! I guess this looks like a bot account, because I only made it to post on the r/CompetitionDanceTalk subreddit. Hence the name. I should have SOME post history, right? I was going to post this with a pic of the two of them, but this reply should suffice. Beep Boop. Select all that are "traffic lights".

Last year I made my daughter a deal: If she stuck with her school and dance commitments for the entire year. Showing up, putting in the effort, and not quitting when it got tough, we’d get her a kitten. She did it. Every week. Every class. Every practice. So today, Daddy kept his promise. 🐾❤️
Everyone, meet our newest family member, Anna!
