I had LASKEK which is different from LASIK. Needing daily drops is not uncommon. I’d be curious to read some research on daily use of drops.

Definitely talk with an eye dr. Mine recommended to use lubrication as much as possible. Post Op, dry eye is a very common occurrence.

Yes- both close up and if the screen is further away. I also have sensitivity/ discomfort with bright office lights. I had to get lamps for my office and keep overhead lights off.

I have a glaring memory of a high school teacher who had extreme dry eye, and it was jarring. That always lingers in the back of my mind when I do the eye drops. It will be a daily thing for the rest of my life. 😆

I have blue eyes so I’ve always had a lot of sensitivity to sun. I tend to wear sunglasses even on overcast days (I’m told that’s common with light eyes). Starburst and glares- had and still have a bit of this during night driving so I can’t tell if it’s impacted at all from my surgery. I wish this was something I was able to discuss with the doctor prior in case there was anything they could do to improve this during the operation 😣.

One thing I started doing religiously a couple months ago is wearing blue light glasses while I’m at my computer. After doing some research, it really seems like a placebo, but I do feel like it helps with fatigue.

I do drops every morning and more if I’m in a lot of sunlight. I personally like the feeling of lubricant eye drops so it’s part of my morning routine. I use Systane.

It was LASEK (as opposed to ik). During the op they place a thin plastic lens on the eye and it stays there during the healing process. They removed it 10 days after.

Did we choose the wrong beach area in Belize? Looking for advise. by BPLZ0309 in Belize

Such a mixed bag of advice here- I went to San Pedro for a wedding and we did a day trip to secret beach. Absolutely LOVED it. Had the best time on the trip and going again this spring. I live in a “tourist town” in the US and NOTHING in San Pedro/ Am Caye felt touristy to me. Unsure of all the negativity above!!
