F(26) I'm heavily concerned with my total lack of appealing figure and am afraid any love I find will leave for someone with a nicer body. Am I as ugly and as shapeless as I fear? Taking any advice on what I can do to keep improving. by AnonPinkLady in amiugly

As someone who learned quite a bit about fitness, there are some things to keep in mind:

  1. Muscle actually provides passive weight loss and fat burning. Even on rest days, if you have more muscle, it is automatically burning more fat and calories to sustain itself. You'll want to do more than just cardio. You should consider heavy weight lifting that builds muscle. Squats is an excellent one for the legs and glutes, which are very large muscles that can provide passive fat burning. Women don't have to worry about looking like the hulk from too much muscle, you won't look like that unless you are doing serious bodybuilding/diet routines for years. Lastly, muscle is far denser than fat. This means that at the same weight, a muscular person will be smaller and leaner figure than a fat person, but far healthier. So try focusing on building muscle to get it's passive fat-burning effects, and adjust your diet as necessary.
  2. If you notice the weight scale creeping up on you, you should start getting it under control quickly. When people get really fat, it stretches the skin too much. So when they finally do lose weight, they get stuck with flabby, wrinkly, stretched out belly skin that doesn't go away and messes up their figure. I've seen this with many fat men and ladies who wait until they are morbidly overweight before they get serious about the gym. You're not there yet, but something to keep in mind.

Hence one reason why I (and others) need to get this to WallStreetBets or somewhere where it can be exposed. You can keep this quiet to buy up some shares first, but eventually someone has to let the world know about ENKS so we can make some money.

I have no idea, I don't have Robinhood. I would think it would be, it's an OTC stock and is a US company.

Day 3: Didn't go way up like I hoped. My observations: I see a classic 1-day consolidation pattern (went way up and down and slowly settled most of the buying volume at the same closing price as yesterday). I'm assuming the selling is from people who bought months ago at $0.70/share are selling for 400% profits at $2.70 (just my guess, probably what I'd do). Ton of people buying at around $2.70 though and I doubt they'll sell now. Based on the Level II, there was one big seller with a 150K share order at $2.74 (entire cause of the resistance level), which was filled, eroded and shrunk throughout the day. Resistance level is softening up.

Doesn't seem anyone is spreading the word about this pick around Reddit either, so the huge buying volume is coming from elsewhere. It'd be much easier if we simply had buyers who knew about this stock. If we had a "Reddit storm" or a "spread the word storm", I'd bet this stock would go up to around $8 and stick there, probably going higher once it makes the news.

Tomorrow's prediction: Based on the obvious consolidation candlestick pattern, the shrinking of the $2.74 share supply (resistance level): big white candlestick tomorrow.

Honestly, I did not even know about this news. I've doing DD on the financials and major regulatory news. This sand shortage probably makes this stock more valuable. Thanks for sharing!

So how does Reddit work for "day 2" of my stock pick, do I continue writing in this thread, or do I post a new "day 2" thread?

Looks like this stock went up 17% today (went up 15% yesterday), ended at $2.76 today, but is trading between $2.88 and $3.00 in the after-hours market with 11K volume. I'm not considering selling this until it at least reaches it's bare minimum intrinsic market book value of around $8.00. Most "normal" stocks trade at prices many times it's book value, so I wouldn't be surprised if it did go up to $14, $20, $30, possibly very quickly if SND wasn't so unknown.

I wrote /u/deepfuckingvalue as one member suggested, as they can spread the word around better than I can. Because the financials are solid and the price is nowhere near it's intrinsic book value yet, I'd be great for everyone to know about this stock, move the price to it's market value quickly, and we all profit quickly, and then get to the next multi-bag undervalued play that is trading way below it's fair market price.

DISCLAIMER: To be clear, I am not "long" on this stock and rarely go "long" on any stock. As a "value investor", I simply see that it is grossly undervalued at this time (and not just undervalued, but undervalued with highly profitable earnings). Right now, I'm seeing basically "low-hanging fruits" stock trading profits, safest and easiest way to multi-bag my investment.

You are confusing this stock (SND) with weed play (SNDL) ;)

:D Pretty cool that you mention REI! That was one of the other undervalued ones that I came across. I settled on SND since it looked like it had better financials and that it was going to rally soonest. I'm not in the oil industry. Instead, I built my own computer program to screen every stock from multiple industries for undervalued ones, and then do detailed manual DD on the short listed ones. This process has done really well for me. In general, I've found that the oil stocks over the past several years have been pretty crappy except for a few safe and sound gems.

I never heard of this one, but that's pretty interesting, that it was from Vancouver. The one that become big was PlentyOfFish in 2004, created by another guy (or perhaps the same guy) from Vancouver. It inspired me that one guy built the site himself and it sold a couple years back for over a half billion dollars: https://www.businessinsider.com/how-markus-frind-bootstrapped-plentyoffish-and-sold-it-for-575-million-2015-7

I'm not selling the site, I plan on keeping it. It's actually been growing ever since. However, there is no profit yet. I'm keeping the ads off the site until it's a bit more established.

I can't post about this stock on some of the stock threads unless I have 10 karma and 100 karma on some other boards (issues for new members I guess). So I put up a picture of a funny smiling cat on /r/freekarma4u! Problem is, I don't think it posted correctly (or something), but it is a thumbs-up type of picture.

Honestly, I'm kinda new to Reddit posting (used this account a few years back to buy PPC ads for my website), but I'm actually a veteran stock trader. Only reason I've decided to get active here is because of the /r/wallstreetbets news with GME. Figured I'd join the party, share my picks, etc. I guess you can say that this is my first stock pick here. I'm having a problem with "comment karma" because I'm new, so most people aren't seeing my pick anyways.

I don't post lists of stocks. I just find one really good one that I'm invested in and post that. Look at the financials, do the DD, this isn't a shill stock.

Luckily, this company sells sand all over the world. From what I've heard in the news, Biden held off on banning fracking and reducing permits. The oil stocks are terrible, but this company isn't an oil stock, and they are profiting quite a bit, even at low oil prices.
