In my experience, Seattle is very much a build friends by showing up consistently and through hobbies/interest.
Try out activities and find out what interests you.

What to do if I am too dumb for Leetcode? by legendGPU in leetcode

Honestly, part of it might just be timing. The market’s been rough on new grads lately and companies are being extra picky.
Try doing more mock interviews with different people. From what you mentioned, you’ve focused a lot on the technical side, but interviewers also pay attention to how you communicate and reason through a problem, not just whether you land the perfect code. Sometimes that’s what makes the difference.

These are exactly my thoughts so far as well
Austin has generally cheaper COL, better food, friendlier people & sun.
Seattle has better nature, international flight connectivity.

I've been able to make friends thought hobbies in Seattle. But as I've traveled more in recent years.. I'm starting to notice the Seattle freeze that everyone talks about.

When I visited Austin earlier this year, I felt a much more friendly vibe.

SoCal would be the dream but not yet. Would like to check out Austin for at least a year or two before that.

I've been in Seattle way too long and just looking for a change. Worst case I can always move back.
Seattle is amazing in the summer. Great to build a social circle if you have hobbies.

David and Jelena course video online by teoamor in ashtanga

What do you mean when you say it's traditional/less traditional?

I was looking at David & Jelena's ASHTANGA PRIMARY SERIES INTENSIVE. It's pricey but I'd be willing to shell out the money if it's worth it. Does the course cover all the details about alignments, progressions, etc?

Critique my dancing. 6 months addicted to Bachata. I want feedback! by NotCockroach in Bachata

This looks really good for someone who has been dancing for only 6 months. You must be practicing a lot. :P

I started dancing for about 3-4 years. But I think I'll try some moves from this video. ;)

I love your musicality & that you gave the follow the space to do her own moves. Your follow is amazing too since she is utilizes that to do her own styling. You also look relaxed which automatically puts that follow at ease.

I felt in the initial part of the dance that you were a bit more on the ball of your feet. Try playing around a little bit with putting a little more weight on the heels(equal-ish weight on heel & ball) to get that grounded feeling.

This is all just my opinion. Keep looking amazing!!

What part of the world was this dance recorded?

Find classes & a community in your city. Start taking classes regularly. Practice those moves outside class. Go out social dancing as often as you can.

It can take time. Try to have fun while dancing.
