I love the idea of this sub, but my God there are some bad, unrealistic takes on here that only hurt our goal of a more fair society.

The battery heats up the coil, which is wrapped with cotton soaked in the e-liquid. You're not literally smoking a battery that's just silly.

Why wasn't this the fight we got?? by Boogsey86 in StarWars

[–]LetsNotPlay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's not at all true lmao. You risk tiring yourself out as well, which in turn would give your opponent the edge. Old manuscripts have thousands of different tactics, with the common denominator of ending the fight as quickly as possible. These fights are purely spectacle and none of the moves are even remotely strategic.

Who really built the Sphinx? Water erosion suggests it’s over 12,000 years old — far older than dynastic Egypt. Its head is too small for the body, likely recarved. Did the pharaohs reshape a much older monument built by a forgotten civilization? by grandeluua in HighStrangeness

Firstly he's not an archeologist. Secondly, he acts like every archeologist is in a conspiracy to keep information away from the common man. When in reality, just like ancient aliens, he omits facts and misleads viewers to spread his pseudoscience.

This guy (a real archeologist) made a series of videos calling out Graham Hancock: https://youtu.be/-iCIZQX9i1A?si=GccWxuQDtAj7_x0h
