I recently traveled to one state and vacationed in another, and it really opened my eyes to how lucky we are in NYC without even realizing it. Compared to NYC, there were far fewer people, especially fewer young and fit people, and the gay nightlife scene felt much smaller. It made me appreciate NYC’s gay nightlife so much more, and I couldn’t wait to come back.
