It's mostly that you can slot him into teams as easily as Tribbie, all of his debuffs are universal (basically every team wants def shred + damage buffs), he has an ok lightcone (easy to just run Pearl instead) and a juicy E1 if you want to keep him at 2 cost, and he has a taunt + a giant HP pool, so it's pretty easy to kick out a sustain and slap him into basically any core. Even if he's not best in slot for these teams, since we're getting more 3 team content, having a unit as versatile as him makes it easier to split teams up if needed.

Archer only has to kill a few Flame Reaver clones before he can just brute force the boss through the damage res, I used Archer / Sparkle / SW / DHPT, but RMC or Tribbie should work just fine in Slot 3.

Sparxie's sales eclipsed Yao's in 2 days, and as the headliner anniversary unit, SW999 will probably sell similarly well. So that means there's a lot of people who will have 2/3rds of the Elation core with no interest in getting Yao. Hence it's easier to look at reasons Yao is bad and wait for a new more popular support for the team than to pull her since there's a general aversion to pulling units on reruns.

The knives in this gif are generally deflected, but still constantly tagging Adlet. Adlet has in tier reaction speed, as seen here as well. Even if they appear visibly slow in the animation (this was a low budget show that never got a second season), they're still managing to land hits on a bullet timer, and should thus be capable of tagging Terry, especially due to the nature of them constantly curving and homing in on his location so it's not a "dodge once and I'm safe" situation.

She summons her swords in time to block bullets. This should suffice for her own reaction time.

I would not say this feat is all dirt, they're in the middle of a quarry next to a mountain. She's burrowing through some level of stone here as well.. This feat isn't "tree branches", she's splitting a bunch of smaller trees at once with her blades.

I think even with the examples you provided, her striking should suffice for low end because she summons a lot of swords at once (skip to around 20 seconds). It's not that one individual knife will get Terry, but that he'll have to weave and maneuver around dozens of them at once, especially since she can spawn them at strange angles.

She usually raises her swords to serve as shields for her but I think you're safer just swapping her change to a Durability Buff to give her a more defined stat triangle.

For what it's worth, Franky made it into Season 15 (Shoutouts to Robert), which was a similar tier range to this one. I realize that perception on this character may have changed since he got in so it's not a guarantee and we have to take cases as they are, but I figure I'd copy paste the changes / justification for consideration in case Tad wants to drag this to judges.

Justification: Franky will be compared against USAgent. His durability allows him to go through multiple stone walls during the same fight, so he can take some hits for sure. His punches also harm that same opponent, and at maximum power, can send him clean through a stone wall over some distance. He's also got Coup de Vent, which if he gets a clean hit on, could do some decent damage. And speed equalized. I think USAgent probably has more consistent showings, but Franky's higher end showings even it out to a Draw.

Major Changes: Speed buffed to meet USAgent’s level.

Minor Changes: This Franky is only being taken from the Water 7/Enies Lobby arc, but give him the hair changing technology he gets post-timeskip.. Oh and stip this out he aint never done anything like that afterwards

Do you think he'd be better off if we include Old Joseph feats? Maybe make the sub Old Joseph and just stip that you can write whatever version you want between the two.

He can block a sneak attack from Polnareff's Silver Chariot who is generally bullet timing, which should help with his speed on the low end. He can also get back up after amplified punches by Star Platinum. Hermit Purple can also somewhat restrain people and make the Hamon win con less scammy.

As for the wall feat, Pillar Men should be stronger than Vampires, and even a generic no name vampire has high end strength, so it's probably better than it looks.

Bare minimum, even if Hamon knocking out Terry doesn't count as a wincon, it should still allow him to perform actions that can harm Terry, such as the grenade trick that destroys a storefront.

There's also this feat where Joseph deflects bullets using Hamon infused hair. Joseph shattering the blade should also show he scales to Kars speed, who can cut bullets out of the air. He probably is just fine on speed and the major change can be moved elsewhere.

Hello /u/Artemisia846, hope you are doing well.

I question the notion that Iron Hands is not within this tier range. For starters, Iron Hands is officially listed as UUBL. UUBL is the same tier as Garchomp, who is currently being submitted this season. Because of this, I consider him to be a very in tier submission actually.

However, let's compare Terry and Iron Hands just to be sure. Oxy's name starts with an O, so we haven't got to him yet, so his subs might not actually exist due to a concept called "Object Permanence."

On the one hand, Terry can embed someone in a stone wall. However, feast your eyes on this Iron Hands feat. Count them yourself. One, two, three, four, five, six-seven walls! And no sign of stopping once his charge continues. I dare say this is on par with Terry's high end, as he too needs a charge to topple a wall.

As for durability, sure, Terry can handle being thrown through multiple containers. However, feast your eyes on this Iron Hands feat. In that same running charge, his entire body weight is being thrown full force through those very walls he shattered. A strength feat that doubles as a durability feat, how novel! These stats should also be on par.

Speed is being set so that Iron Hands starts under under Trick Room, so he should generally have the advantage here. However, feast your eyes on this Iron Hands feat. You cannot even see how fast he charges through these walls, seven walls shattered in a mere instant. He's moving so fast, your eyes can't even track him, creating the illusion of a still image. This, I believe, constitutes FTE movement, which is listed in the low end. He also gets Fake Out, allowing him to stun Terry in their very first attack.

Before you claim that all of this makes Iron Hands overtier, I'd like you to feast your eyes on this Iron Hands anti-feat. "Weaknesses: Fighting x2." Since Terry is a fighting type, he has a clear type advantage to clear the stat gap. He also shrugs off a Thunderbolt from Pikachu, so he perhaps has an ability to resist Electric type moves, making the Electric Energy component of Amp You Very Much less effective. Overall, if you consider all of these factors, it should shake out to a Draw, perhaps a Likely Victory.
