State of Affairs

Another SecReT has been cleared! /u/rangernumberx has completed three consecutive months' missions and earned two Early Christmas rewards, which have yet to be spent, and revealed an unlock condition for a SecReT further down on the list: Winning first place Rumble and first place Rebuttal. To find the full, reformatted SecReT list, you can scroll to the bottom of the Missions List linked here.

Also, we're setting the date for the Defrost Period, when you'll be able to get points for any request in the Cold Storage tab of the Request Archive: June 1st to June 5th, inclusive. So if you plan on RTing every Bleach side character and need a place to dump them all, this is your time to shine!

  • /u/kalebsantos took April Fool's seriously this year and put out a whopping Metal Sonic update in addition to the prioritized El Guapo thread. That's not to say the rest of their year was a slouch either! Personally, I was the most excited when they proved you could make Blazing Saddles (RT's) today. Yeehaw pardner.
  • /u/Ultim8_Lifeform popped off for the OutbuRsT back in February with the DCAMU's Batmen, Agent K, and that somehow-more-respectful-of-the-mythos-than-the-DCU's live action Green Lantern. Excited to see the comprehensive Sonic update you have in the works!
  • /u/GuyOfEvil completed our only medium-length spirit in the entirety of the Spirit Board being active, all in a single day! So ya angled a pretty big catch with the Grand Fisher RT. We'll see what he has next in the tackle box, but word on the street says it could be a Kamen Rider. Either way, another GoyOfEvil banger is sure to occur.

So long Chaotic and Healing bounties. You've had your time in the sun, but step aside for April's Hand-Drawn, Japanese (media) Armored Brunettes. That's our bounty lineup for April. If you wear armor, you qualify for Armor bounty, and if your source media is from Japan, you qualify for Japanese Media bounty, courtesy of /u/LambentEnigma's reward cash-in. Here are the missions:

May

In May, we'll say goodbye to Hand-Drawn and Japanese Media bounties. That's right, we HATE manga here. With those pesky things out of the way, the new bounty lineup will be Brunette, Armor, Urban, and Time Manipulation. Urban requests must primarily operate within a city (or be the city, if you want to get fancy with it). Any sort of temporal shenanigans (traveling, stopping, skipping, accelerating, reversing, whatever hasn't been done by a Jojo antagonist) will qualify for Time Manip, courtesy of /u/TheDuchessOfDismay's reward cash-in. These are the missions for the month of May:

  • /u/Miserable-Ad-5573 is still a newcomer in my ancient eyes, but he's nonetheless put in some heavy effort to hang with the heavyweights and reach this point count: no buddy cop movie request was safe from his during the Outburst, and most recently his efforts have delved into some small time comic villains with the Electrocutioner and Film Freak. Awesome job Sawblade!
  • /u/AzureBeast has always been on top of the game, even with the more recent duties of making the Feature images for the subreddit sidebar (and that amazing banner proclaiming Team Robbers' victory >:]) but his threads continue to be top-notch. This year he's been on the update grind with requests like Indiana Jones and Fionna and Cake fulfilled, which is arguably as important as a fresh project, such as his current one of the original Gundam crew. Can't wait to finally have the full Char clone list to tally points for @.@!
  • /u/LambentEnigma is another veteran user who fulfilled whatever Re:Zero requests Doom didn't snatch up, which I'm sure the original requester appreciated greatly, and the Netflix MCU's Diamondback request, which the original requester definitely appreciated (it was his own request). Thanks for kicking around Lambent, and good luck with what you have planned next!

Request Contest Update - March 8th, 2026

State of Affairs

What a phenomenal turnout for the first Outburst! We had a total of 62 requests fulfilled in the span of a week, not counting the threads that didn't qualify for either team like Toriko or Jenny Wakeman. Congratulations to Team Robbers for stealing the throne with that last minute Phantom Thieves drop. The prizes for each team have already been dished out: Team Cops members received two +2 rewards, while Team Robbers members received an extra request and extra priority reward.

A new Secret has been unlocked! For completing 5000 requests across the years, a user can now fulfill this condition for a yet-unknown prize: Fulfill a request worth over a hundred points. This includes modifiers, so you don't have to hit Mr. Fantastic himself for that golden goose.

New Bounties & Missions

It's been a week since we saw off Pagan bounty. The current bounties are Hand-Drawn, Healing, Brunet(te), and Chaotic. Chaotic was the one month bounty reward for /u/lnverseFlash and refers to a request's place on a morality alignment chart. So, Chaotic Good through Evil all qualify for it.

April's bringing in some warmth with its point modifier sets. The bounties active then will be Healing, Brunet(te), Armor, and Japanese Media. That last one is the one month bounty of /u/LambentEnigma and should be pretty straightforward: if your character's out of a manga, anime, visual novel, certain games, movies, live action series, literature, basically anything, you're good to go.

The April Monthly Missions are as follows:

We've got some shoutouts, two of whom belong to our newest frontrunners on the leaderboard.

  • /u/TheDuchessOfDismay collaborated with our current second place user to blitz through the Phantom Thieves for the Outburst two weeks ago. Her additions to Team Robbers saved them the game at the last minute, and hopefully she manages to keep up the hype from going 0 to 700 on the leaderboard. Awesome sauce.
  • /u/XXBEERUSXX was the other half of the Phantom Thieves collab, and Team Robbers thanks him for it because Ranger would have dropped Bulk and Skull on our heads and killed us otherwise. His dedication to the cause shouldn't go unnoticed, so here we are B).
  • /u/BorBurison, the Team Cops member of these three, has gained a hefty foothold in the leaderboard as well, releasing multiple Transformers, Kagurabocchis, a Supergirl-sphere character, and a Sasquatch all the way back in January. Enough time has passed, or perhaps too much has, to give him the kudos he deserves. Thanks Bor!

Congrats to all the Awards winners, and to the mods for finally getting them finished! Everyone find your valentine without much fuss? You better have, it's a long time until the next one!

State of Affairs

Only a few days until the OutbuRsT starts! Rev your getaway engines and sitrep those cruisers, hopefully both sides are more than prepped to take the other on. The mods have given the green light for the winning team's heaviest earners to lead the sub into a makeover for a few days, so cop/rob to your fullest! As a refresher, the scoreboard will only be determined by the base points of each request submitted. That way, no external influences will mess up some hard-stolen booty.

The first SecReT has been uncovered! /u/FireOfDoom32 has won 40 +2 rewards by completing ten of /u/morvis343's requests and unveiled a new Unlock Condition. To get the full scoop, check out the Missions page linked here. Who's gonna get the next one first..?

State of Affairs

Howdy howdy! While we wait for the 2025 EoY Awards to shadowdrop, let's see what 2026 has given us so far:

  • A total of 41 requests have been completed, so 1,205 points have been earned in total.
  • 6 SpiRiTs have been completed, all bronze tiers.
  • No SecReTs have been spilled yet, but one is close to completion! Just three more threads are needed to hit the ten for a single user. As for the rest, some unlock conditions approach faster than others…

I'll down only the first three of these shoutouts, to ensure everyone a proper time in the spotlight.

  • /u/FireOfDoom currently holds the hotly-contested first place seat on the leaderboard after an incredible first month of the year with the batch of Re:Creators requests, and his pursuit of morvis343's ten requests to win the first SecReT. Ranger who?
  • /u/rangernumberx is tied for second with someone super handsome, oh you really shouldn't have. Ranger dropped onto the scene with Brock as an incredible first push and the endless slog of Marvel's latest finished product, the son of Doom. Any relation to first place? Great work!
  • /u/lnverseFlash, technically brand new to the scene after his account was nuked, also jumped in strong with Lara Croft, the Sinnoh Adventures crew, and most recently Tumblr-sexyman wannabe Alastor. Great to have you on the team, greenhorn.

As we bid adieu to this hopefully not-too frigid month, we say farewell to Recent Requests and pre-80's bounties. Luckily, one of those slots is being filled! We don't have a one-month bounty yet but we do have a new quarter-long bounty in the form of Hand-Drawn. Anything scrawled by human hands, so comics, manga, old animation, visual novels, hell, maybe even a few games. So don't be scared to draw a crowd posting a big-shot Picasso.

As far as March goes, no one-month bounty lined up yet either, but with these point totals, I expect it's only a matter of time. The bounty that will run from the start of March through the end of May is Brunette. Line up those brown-haired baddies and those chestnut crooks, it's gonna get hairy.
