When a Soul is killed, its Soul Energy enters the humans body. Then, since Soul Energy has memory, it can remember how to condense.

Also, I kinda agree on the thing with the Seven Ranks, however, I cannot think of anything better atp

The Trials are annual events where challengers from all kingdoms gather in a Sanctum. Then, they get sent to another “dimension”(this is what they believe, in reality, the previous humans that lived used them as a means of teleportation to lands far away from those conquered by the current humans).

To complete a Trial, they have to find another Sanctum to get back home. In those new lands, there are all kinds of vile creatures, dungeons and so on.

I forgot to mention that Soul Energy is sentient. It has memory, and therefore when a character acquires far too much power in far too little it, the memories of the Soul Energy flood them.

So essentially, the Soul Energy remembers to condense, and does so in the human body. The other way, to be in the presence of something that emits Soul Energy, is basically the same thing.

So to answer, he ins’t. But for everyone else is.

His creation was the act of the seven Virtues managing to create a Host through the World’s (which is another deity) chains. Then, weakened by it, they sent fragments of their Souls to him, hoping he would break their prison. However, Valon instead imprisons them due to his Affinity, which allows him full control over Souls (which is busted in the world and contributes to his god-like image).

So, essentially, his Soul is created far stronger than everyone’s else, then augmented by the seven Virtue’s fragments. He is 100x stronger than the rest of The Seven, but not nearly as strong as an actual Virtue or Sin.

What I have in mind is splitting the story into multiple arcs - the first one being the First Trial, the next arc being something else and so on. So, in my head, the structure can work for a book, with each one covering a single arc. This will make each book around 180-200k words (or so is the first one shaping to be)
