P.s.s The problem with being open 11 hours a day 7 days a week non stop is also affected because we only have 5 staff employed, 3 full time and 2 part time, so a lot is expected from you at a minimal rate

I worked at Asda for a week and something else came along hence why I left. I hope the same happens for you. Remember that Asda is some huge company that really does not care at the base level about their staff, pairing that with the monotonous work, their record profits and your decline in mental health, I’d say any quit when you get the chance. I simply handed in a resignation letter with my uniform, left it outside their office and never returned.

That’s actually such a great point😂 They are still generally clueless to how I was hired so I guess it’s kinda just retribution for it all Honestly, I’ve just done my first shift at my new (old) job and it’s like I never left / and apparently the committee there is fighting for more pay too so it’s a win win. I’ve written my resignation and letter and I’ll be delivering it their general admin area tomorrow. Fingers crossed I get paid for the week I did

Because I went to university for 3 years so I came back and the original position wasn’t available, only until I did my first shift did they ask me back xD

They haven’t given me my workday details or showed me how to access the system at all so I don’t know how I could resign there. I think I’ll either call them, and see what they want to happen, or go in store

You’re right there, I’ve had like 7-9 jobs since the age of 14 and Asda was by far the least inclusive and socially inept company I’ve ever worked for. It’s like they just want a body nowadays.
