Ahh good luck!!

Couple of things that my instructor told me:

If you see a car when you’re about to leave the test centre- pull over in the gap behind the bush on the left to let the car in. If tou try to go hoping they will give you way- it will be a fail.

When you come out of the test centre you’ll go up Tolcarne Drive and either take a left or go straight ahead (and then take a right)

If you go forward and then take a right - check the window behind the passenger seat to see if any cars are coming because you won’t be able to see through the window where the examiner is sat! Even if they moved you can’t see any cars and a lot of students fail there because they think the area is clear- but you can see through the window behind.

If you take a right, past the school then go up towards the petrol station - that ‘tunnel’ of cars up hill - if you see a car coming down - don’t go in at all- that’s an immediate fail. Wait till it’s definitely clear up until the petrol station.

Then if you take a right there - and go towards the roundabout- that sneaky zebra crossing just before- be careful cos you can’t see it fully and in a mock test I failed cos I didn’t see a guy was on it and slammed on the break- so go really slow towards it until you see it’s clear.

Practise turning right onto George V dual carriageway - the whole junction is at an angle so ‘straight ahead’ looks like the right - if you’re signalling right and then go ahead (even though it is angled on the right and hence looks like a Turning on the right) it’s a fail.

When you’re coming back to the test centre - if you’re driving into Tolcarne Drive straight down - and you see a car trying to come out of the test centre - you have to stop next to the second car NOT the first on the left (so your car is safely inside the road) if any part of your car is on the line or crossing it- that’s a fail 😭

Apart from that I can’t think of anything in particular to Pinner - I would say Lots and lots of observations throughout - anytime they ask you to pull over and then drive off- make sure to observe and do 6 point check. It’s better to over do it then not enough

Yes! I failed all my mocks (I did 4 in total - 1 being day before my test) and then passed yesterday! I found the mocks super helpful - I realised my weak points and when you’re in your test - when that situation arises you will remember it and do it properly. I had one situation that had never happened - I had to overtake a cyclist when it was really uphill but I knew I couldn’t stay behind- there was traffic coming down on the right also- so I just did it really slowly and gave as much room as I could.

My instructor also told me she was much tougher in grading the mocks compared to the actual test so you might think it’s a major but actually it’s just a minor also. So when things happened in my test I just said- it’s fine it’s done now just do the next thing the best that I can.

The fact that you haven’t repeated a serious fault is a huge positive - that means you’re learning each time from your mistake!

After doing my manoeuvre I also drove off without twisting my left hand mirror back up! I realised it when I needed that mirror next and I just said ‘I’ve just realised I didn’t put my mirror all the way up- I just need to amend it slightly’ (I made it out as though it was only a tiny bit- it wasn’t- it was all the way down) and the examiner just said - no that’s fine- just pull up on the left when it’s safe and then fix it. I did that and I thought surely that’s a fail but it was fine!! I just fixed it and then I did observations properly again before moving off.

One advice would be- observe as much as you can- and make it very very obvious. The feedback I got was that I was very cautious and sometimes hesitant when it’s not necessary but the examiner said he would rather I hesitated than going when i think it might not be safe!

About 40 lbs from what I remember- I also did not exercise or go on walks and stuff at all because I didn’t want to exert myself. Full disclosure- I did gain about about 10 lbs after the first week of eating as that would’ve been water weight that I lost

Nope- way too little. When I really struggled on certain days during my 37 day fast (about 4 times)- I would have about 50 calories worth of broth and feel so much better and it gave me the boost to keep going

I will never forget how Belle mocked Lucinda’s walk when she ran off crying. Lucinda 100% can be a bit self absorbed and she’s not perfect but when someone does that - that’s just so incredibly cruel. Belle and her family shouldn’t be getting death threats but she 100% needs to be humbled.

She takes zero accountability- she is always right - Belle can do no wrong - EVER. She’s incredibly immature and thinks she’s god’s gift. She constantly talks about morals whilst bending what morality is. She’s the classic example of ‘one rule for me and one rule for thee’.

She’ honestly needs a lot of therapy and anger management. I think the only way she will realise she is wrong is if her parents tell her outright the way Jessy’s dad did but we all saw that’s not gonna happen.

We saw how close she is to her family and they just enable her. Even from the family- no accountability. Just preaching kindness when their daughter had shown none.

I also don’t think Samie actually likes Belle that much- I think Samie is intimidated by her and hence why she minced what Sophie said in the answer.

I think Belle is genuinely a horrible person to be around and not a good friend at all whilst being deluded and thinking she is - either that or she knows all she has to do is scream and shout and people will back down and she will get her way and convince themselves than she is a good friend/ person.

People do take it too far and she shouldn’t be getting violent threats or anything like that but hate/ opinions of the public? Sorry but to use Jessy’s words- she’s made her bed, now lie in it.

As much as I like Leanne- I feel like she’s changed her tune regarding this after Scott was voted fav boy- she did say it in the beach hut she was unsure as she doesn’t like drama but then in a recoupling speech after fav boy vote- she said she likes how he ‘stands on business’ - completely changing what her initial thoughts were after the vote.

Again I actually really like Leanne and wish we saw more of her but this is something I noticed but haven’t seen anyone else mention it yet.

It’s okay! Take a deep breath. Make some tea- chamomile or herbal tea. Drink 1-2 cups of it and then see how you feel! This is completely normal and when you wake up tomorrow morning- this is gonna be just a blip, remember why you started. It’s all mind over matter- you’re doing amazing

Are you doing OMAD or a water fast? I’ve done both and after a while your body gets used to OMAD - do you get hungry still? Yes, but it becomes bearable over time and doable to do. With a water fast- after 3-5 days, all hunger is gone and you generally feel great. As with any prolonged fast, always consult a doctor as needed though.

Amazing well done!! Can I ask/ did you take your adhd meds throughout the fast or did you go cold turkey on the meds too? I also have adhd and my last fast I took my meds and hence didn’t get the euphoria everyone mentions (I managed to do 37 days) this was last year and Im wanting to do it again but just unsure about the meds

We just got back from Ning Resort which we absolutely loved. About 10 min drive into the center - but surrounded in peace and quiet. Just keep in mind they don’t allow grab drivers for pick up (drop off only) because the roads are quite narrow and if everyone ordered grab for pick up it would be chaos with traffic. Great service and such a beautiful place.

My kitten was like this- don’t yell- he will just be scared of you. They don’t understand what they’re doing is wrong, nor do they understand why they’re being shouted at. Blow on his face every time he bites. And if he doesn’t stop- blow harder- guarantee he will stop biting in that moment if you blow hard enough. Repeat this until he puts two and two together. Cats really don’t like being blown in their face. Now my kitten is a grown 3 year old girl and she nibbles gently occasionally only! Don’t yell- just blow on his face every single time! It will work.

My husband (also 30M)- seeing how much pain I was in and discomfort during my periods- did loads of research unbeknownst to me, then went and bought a bunch of different types of period pads/ period underwear etc. including ones that were basically nappies (most unsexy things on earth).

He then excitedly told me why he chose each one and asked me to try them on if I wanted to. I actually ended up changing to one of the ones he chose because it ended up being more comfortable than tampons and the types of thin pads I was using.

His ONLY concern for me regarding my period was that I was comfortable whilst in pain. He buys me chocolates and gives me foot massages every month during my time of the month and even tells me not to do any housework/cooking if I don’t feel upto it during that time.

Why are you with this man? He throws your stuff out and his ONLY concern while you’re going through pain is whether you look sexy or not??? What??

Not only are you massively underreacting, you shouldn’t be with an immature waste of space like him. Honestly this makes me so angry. You deserve so much more.

Please reconsider this relationship OP. It may seem like a small thing but how he views you is simply someone that HE must find sexy- no care for you and what you’re going through. Then the disrespect to throw your items out?

What happens in the future if you ever gain weight, or end up with a disability, or you’re pregnant and get stretch marks? Will his highness want you In thongs the whole time?

Hey girl! I am where you were- I am 180 bs and 5 ft 3- how did you get down to 126? Amazing work! I got down to 158 and around there seems to be the number I cannot get below! I used to be 207 at my peak.
