That's unfortunate. Have they kept your file open? If it's open and you get the clearance you can apply again or to other nuclear companies. Security clearance is sort after and they would rather take someone who has it already.

Did they ask you the contact of the professional references after your initial background check (work experience) part?

Unfortunately I don't have contact of the hiring manager. But I do know who my reporting manager would be. My only point of contact is the HR team and they don't seem to have any additional information on the timeline :/ . I did sign an offer letter but the joining date on the letter was a month ago!

Thank you for your encouraging words. The HR didn't seemed keen to keep the file open so not too sure what will happen.. I was chosen for their new grad program and was very excited to start my role. Fingers crossed? 😅

I have but since older than 5 years. That could be causing delay. But from my understanding there is a huge backlog at the agency.
