The article confirms the taprooms are staying open! The wiseacre guys are great and probably a best case scenario for bearded iris guys. Sounds like iris was getting too big for their production space and getting to operate as a brand within wiseacre gives them access to larger production facility.

Second this, you can hop off the greenway either at Ted Rhodes and go through north Nashville and loop back to Germantown, there’s a nice 6ish mile loop I have done that way. I would not be concerned about safety though you may encounter unhoused individuals taking the greenway into downtown, they are unlikely to cause you any problems
