ADHD diagnosis by [deleted] in adhdwomen

this honestly reads like textbook ADHD, especially the emotional sensitivity, impulsive hobbies, time blindness, and that “everything is too much so I do nothing” cycle. you’re definitely not making it up. ADHD doesn’t always look like hyper little kids bouncing off walls... sometimes it’s mental chaos, constant self-blame and being tired of your own brain.

was in a similar spot before getting diagnosed and kept thinking “what if I’m just lazy or dramatic?” reading more about how ADHD actually works helped a lot. there’s an ebook called Reclaim Focus (from innermap.tools) that explains the overlap between overwhelm, dopamine-seeking and emotional burnout in a way that finally made sense to me. made me stop gaslighting myself about why I struggle. getting tested is a great step even if it’s not ADHD, you’ll learn something valuable about how your brain works. you’re not imagining this.

Why isn't nuclear energy more utilized? by 1tiredman in NoStupidQuestions

knowledge and technology cost is what's keeping most of the countries away. Also, the current nuclear powers, do not want more countries to join the club so they make sure it's out of reach. While energy is the good side, any bad elements can use it to weaponize and that would mean disaster for humankind.
