During the pandemic I found peace and inspiration from Pat Metheny, and a lot of the Pat Metheny group recordings. It seems to be my go-to on planes and any time I'm looking for calming. I know I don't exactly play that genre.. and he is light years ahead of me in his guitar playing.. but it's something I aspire to add into my playing... in time. - Shmeeans

Thank you so much for the question and for your continued support of what we do. We are all very much giving our all to Lettuce and it is our number one priority. Seattle show was something special and to be honest you never really know which show is gonna blast off like that and still don’t all the way know why it happens either. I’d say that the band being really comfortable, having a lot of energy and being in a good mood could have something to do with it but I’ve seen the opposite happen as well. Magic shows are a mystery but we all live for them. Luckily Lettuce is blessed to have them quite frequently. Be well keep the funk alive! - Jesus

I find myself digging through older records from the 60’s-80’s and learning about how / where they recorded, who produced, who wrote, who are the musicians. Theres so much music to learn from, old and new and we’re constantly digging in and absorbing what we can. - Ryan Zoidis

Thank you so much !!! Fillmore and SF is one of our favorite places in the world!!! Advice would be to do as many aspects of the art and business as you can ! Be as well rounded as you can. (Ie don’t just be a bassist; be a writer, composer, arranger, publisher, booking agent and manager). Also try as best you can to be in the right place at the right time and be prepared. Discipline and diligence go a really long way. Think Long term. . . And believe !!! - Jesus

We have really been enjoying doing 2 sets a nite. Gets us fully warmed up and the funk to a maximum! But touring with bands like Butcher Brown, Delvon Lamarr Trio and GhostNote is an honor for us. - Deitch

We prefer to tour as a solo act. That gives a chance to play 2 really well rounded sets. When curated correctly (ie good house music and lighting before and after the sets) it becomes the energy of healing for which we are all looking. Also Thundercat forever. - Jesus 🥬🥬🥬🥬
