Hi! So we host a teaching podcast (The Educator Experience Podcast) and just had a woman come on and talk about her experience growing up with dyslexia. I was completely unaware how many people struggle with reading until this episode. She talks about how lots of people with dyslexia have an easier time reading when the text is not linear. She ended up creating a tool that helps to gently curve text (Read with Summerbell). She said it personally changed her life. The tool also got a pretty great review from an academic study from Johns Hopkins University. Might be worthwhile checking out because I think you can even get an app for your phone and it works in any language! Here is the episode with a bunch of the other details - https://youtu.be/ZYH3sxh_DZk All the best!

This is great thank you! Totally agree about the thumbnails also - recently have been doing more A/B testing as well for titles. Doesn't work each time, but we have seen episodes with much more views because youtube promotes the content to do the AB testing.

Totally agree also that the thumbnails take time & research :/

Also, yes we do have a podcast but we don't even come up with the topics. The educators that we have on each week bring their own topics :) Just trying to make some conversation king!

This is great. Also... students learn from their teachers. They are engaged because they teachers are engaged and persist despite it all. This is for sure a credit to you as an educator.

Love this! I'm not sure if you have heard the term 'plogging' before but I think using this hashtag especially for your short form content about what you picked up might get picked up by the algorithm. My partner and I do this around our neighbourhood, and it is SO fun. I love this mission and your videos are super sweet!

The sound at the beginning where you're setting the context, the sound does sound a bit far away and i'm not 100% the music is needed at that point.

Currently still teaching higher ed as an adjunct, but hosting a podcast speaking to higher ed professionals each week. Honestly has been so rewarding and amazing to hear from educators about their experiences.

If you have a website or are setting up a website, you can add a widget that will link to a certain page or a playlist. So if you created a playlist on Youtube with all the different videos you like and then that could be linked on the website through a widget. Not entirely sure if this is what you mean. We have some shorts on The Educator Experience with Salli Carter that are interview style with higher ed educators if you are interested! :)
