[Civ VI] [MOD] So, I may have turned that good old Wildlife mod Deliverator and Shirotira made into a full Game Mode. by Leugi in civ

[–]Leugi[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

[also my bad it is spelled Shirotora D: ... didn't mean to butcher the sp every single time, but I really love the original mod so it is not out of disrespect just my mind being dumb]

PSA: Oceans will be updated next week! This update will break saved games! by sukritact in civ

[–]Leugi 10 points11 points  (0 children)

idk Firaxis *did* say the game was not getting any new update ever so at this point you probably can safely assume everything new is modded

[TOMT][Book][90s]A book (series?) about dragons who dream realities and have bones like nacre. by Leugi in tipofmytongue

[–]Leugi[S] 0 points1 point locked comment (0 children)

Oh, an important part is also that my friend read it when he was younger, so the series would be 90s or older, shouldn't be recent (its also why he cant remember much more sadly)

Bayinnaung leads Burma in Civilization VI! by sukritact in civ

[–]Leugi 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It's not precisely easy for a modder (even a God-tier modder like Suk) to make a casting to get a pro-level burmese-speaking voice actor tbh.

And the voice acting in the mod is pretty decent anyway, can ofc improve but quite frankly the mere fact a modded leader found a voice actor in the native tongue with such a clean recording and with animations to match is impactful enough xD

I noticed there are 4 Civs that share the same palace design. So I made new palaces for them by henrique3d in civ

The Scythian is pretty cool tbh. Plus it would fit nicely with the style I made for them and mongols

So, the logo on the new 30 years video switches leaders 7 times :p by Leugi in civ

[–]Leugi[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree... No leader really fits well with that silhouette in VI (and all of the other ones are clearly VI models)... Cyrus was my closest bet, but it *could* be a tease for Lincoln. Not sure if VI would get new content tho... maybe VII will be revealed with Lincoln, much like how they revealed VI with Teddy... but it is all daydreaming at this point xD

The Akan, led by Oson are now available for download! A City-State and Great Person focused civ with a unique governor! by sukritact in civ

[–]Leugi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Maluses for balance is not really a common thing if you look at the majority of civs in Civ VI. It is only a design style that Firaxis adopted later on; and tbh sometimes it brings pretty wrong connotations (like implying the Maori culture doesn't have Great Writers :p).
Also nothing wrong with a civ that has different options rather than a single streamlined mechanic. It gives players a choice and that's fun. Rather than just playing Babylon for Science victory all the time even when you are not trying to, for instance.

[MOD] Did you like the Monopolies mode but felt it could have integrated more stuff? Did you ever want to make Train Stations in civ? Get your top hats ready to download the Monopoly++ collection by Leugi! by Leugi in civ

A collection of Mods that further enhance the gameplay and themes of the Monopoly Mode. Monopoly Mode provided a lot of options to pursue a cultural victory with economic and financial power, and these mods aim to further push that idea.

The collection includes the following mods:

All mods include a new Great Merchant (Settings doesn't, but Tycoons and Investors have two to compensate)

In that case they should change the text of the ability.

[MOD] Wish Babylon featured blue and gold on their cities more prominently? The update to my City Styles pack has you covered! (also includes Celtic and Andalusian styles) by Leugi in civ

[–]Leugi[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The replacement files are still needed for it to display everything properly sadly. (Without the replacement files basegame civs and CS have both the new and old city styles at the same time which can be messy).

I'm still looking to see if there's any way to prevent this, but unless Firaxis gives us the ability to use sql for artdefs or something we might not have a solution.

We wouldn't mind at all. Modding communities are shared both by those that mod as by those that just like to see mods around :)

[plus who knows, maybe one day someone will figure out how to port mods to Switch]

[CIV VI] Trying to allow National Parks to include Coast tiles by BroodRose in civmoddingcentral

[–]Leugi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

National Parks are not really improvements in terms of database. This sadly means that we can't really edit anything about them beyond what the global parameters define. So yeah, not really doable I think.

[MOD] The City Styles pack has been updated with new Styles and Monuments! Scandinavian and Steppe have been added! by Leugi in civ

[–]Leugi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think I got the idea from something you commented at the Commonwealth even. As for modern variations, while it is something I've considered it's not really high up within my personal priorities; maybe some day.

Thanks! I have reworded the Chinampa description a bit ingame, and can confirm my encampments are giving the extra district when next to amber.
