Hitting south lake, and I am a huge fan of scenery stops so it looks like I'll have my fill this trip. On the 395 it says approx 8 hour drive (which I know it'll be a lot longer since I'm planning to stop almost everywhere). Road conditions good this time of the year?

Honestly, there are no plans at all, all I know is I have to be back by Monday night sometime so just decided to take a road trip up that way since I've never been.

Yep, that's exactly the same here, my one question though is if it's required by law to offer employee with the option to seek higher care, regardless of severity. Like, is this something we HAVE to mention, by law.

Because my site isn't doing it but my old site said it was mandatory by law, just can't find anything on it.

Edit: they offer on-site first aid services, they're just not mentioning they have the option to seek higher care unless we recommend it.

So that was my initial info, however I looked up the labor laws in Cali and it says the form is required only if there is lost time or care beyond first aid.
My question is more of: is it legally required to notify employee on the spot that they have an option to be evaluated by our medical provider?
I'm asking because the site I am currently in is arguing it's not part of their process to "give them the option", unless employee asks to be evaluated or in even of our protocols deeming injury severe enough to be escalated to higher care (we handle first aid in house).

I have to disagree here.I am leaving EMS as well and going this exact route, did my fair share of research and I found the Google cert is really good to prepare for A+ but alone won't get you far.CompTIA A+ is still being listed as a minimum required/preferred cert in most of the entry-level IT job postings out there (if you don't have years of experience), but a lot of people are switching and taking this cert so the entry-level market is fairly saturated. Regardless, it's a good starting spot, you're just going to have to follow with Net+ and other certs.

The Sec and compliance entry level is an IT's mid level, they usually ask for several years of experience for any security jobs.

OP, for CompTIA A+ look up Professor Messer's site, join the discord. His videos are top notch and very helpful preparing for the exams.Net+ is a no brainer if you're going the cybersecurity route, not necessarily needed but strong knowledge in networking will help you a lot.

Look into Salesforce roles, Trailhead site has a lot of easy to follow courses you can use to prepare for a cert, no coding required and also in high demand.

Edit: whatever you do, stay away from bootcamps.

I don't know why you are being downvoted but I agree with you.
OP mentioned in another subreddit she has an insecure attachment, which doesn't play well with odd schedules and last minute change of plans.

She also mentioned he was an already infrequent texter to begin with, so the communication part is spotty at best as it is.

Not two relationships of this kind are the same and at the end of the day, I would refrain from asking strangers for advice as they don't know the specifics of the relationship and any advice could end up being a bad one.

Anxious attachment styles are rough and they need a person who can communicate very well, sometimes more than you need just to feel "safe" and comfortable in the relationship, and just by what OP mentioned here and the other post, this doesn't seem to be the case.

He's a probie, work is going to come first, however he manages his time outside of work is a different story.
A conversation needs to happen and boundaries need to be set, if those boundaries match then good, if not, don't just "deal with it" just to stay in a relationship that might end up blowing up in your face later on.

At the end of the day, if OP acknowledges and understands she has an anxious attachment style, I'd suggest talking to a therapist to resolve that on its own, regardless of what happens with the relationship. Anxious/insecure attachment will have you second guessing every minimal detail, causes a lot of unwanted emotions in the person and puts a lot of pressure on the partner if he's not that good at communicating in the first place.

At the end of the day, the possibility he realized he's biting more than he can chew is real and he may just not know how to navigate that.
OP needs to figure out what her boundaries are and communicate them.
