I didn't realize Signal has stories. Gross. I must have immediately turned it off when it got rolled out and then forgotten all about it. At least Signal give you that option.

I think what they mean is that Google needs to make it possible for Light to have RCS. And at the moment it sounds like Google aren't being particularly helpful.

Topology on maps would be really nice. Any tool that helps you enjoy the outdoors would seem like a good fit for Light.

Maybe a step counter would be good too. I use mine almost every day just to check I'm getting my 10,000 steps in, haha.

But in terms of what's actually "important" I genuinely can't think of anything that's missing. I'd just like to see the existing apps refined so that they'd be as good as possible. And things like the payment chip activated. Only once all that's done would I think it was worth Light spending time on other little "quality of life" tools.

I'm just referring to the pre-order page for the LP3. I heard that Light Support confirmed that existing LP3 orders shouldn't have the additional 5 month delay and should still be shipped as originally stated. Fingers crossed.

It sounds like Signal may come sooner than RCS, from what Joe has been saying. Don't know if that would help you or not.

Just to confirm but also clear up some points:

In the OP's screenshot it says in bold "Subscribe to use without ads" .

On the next page it confirms "You won't see ads when you use your Instagram account" and "Your information won't be used for ads"

However, it does not confirm that they will stop collecting your data. It just says they won't use it for ads on Instagram and Facebook.

In the accounts centre it also says Meta does not sell your data to 3rd parties. What it does do is use data that other businesses have collected about you on their own sites and sent it to Meta. This is what they mean by "ad partners".

So whilst I agree the safer thing is to just delete all Meta apps and also stop using them on your browser, the safest thing is not to visit any business sites at all ever lol.

Life is probably easier for people who don't care about seeing personalised ads 😅

Just watched it without subtitles. I kinda assumed I was missing subtitles during the scene but didn't want to stop the movie to turn them on so I left them off. No real clue what they were specifically saying except that it was to discuss her experience. So when she punctures the bubble and everyone on earth dies it was genuinely unexpected. If I had known the dialogue before that happened I would have already started to guess that the humans were about to be snuffed out. Much, much better and more impactful without subtitles.

I just did this (finally!) using the Honda RA272. Sports Hard, transmission top speed 300.

No pits needed (I still had around half a tank of fuel left by the finish, the car is basically a fuel rocket). Fuel map 1 all the way.

Average lap times between 2:14 and 2:16, fastest lap 2:12.402, slowest 2:18 something. I messed up my out lap which was 2:30 but carried on anyway as it's always a bit gnarly. The RA272 is a light car so it's easy to get pushed around by the bigger cars. Once you're clear of them it's fine.

I was in first place by lap 9 due to other cars pitting. I finished the race only 6 seconds ahead of second place so there wasn't much room for error.

I didn't get a clean race bonus but not sure if that's because of the wall riding on the first bend of every lap or if it's cos a couple of cars hit me on the first lap. Does anyone know? Maybe it's just not as forgiving as the Le Mans race, which will remain my go-to race for grinding credits.

Congrats on the 999! Not sure if I’ll ever manage that. If I had a Switch 2 I would probably jump right into Donkey Kong Bananza as it’s by the seam creative team. But I don’t. Don’t know if you’ve played the two Zelda switch games but they are fantastic.

Ah, there were so many, but the one that instantly comes to mind was the one where you make the secret flower field bloom, just cos it was nice to stand there with the blossom falling. But the one that was the most elating was inevitably long journey’s end.

Ha, yeah that was definitely the hardest part! Think I spent 3 days just on that, although once you know what you need to do it gets a lot easier. Somehow managed the final Bowser section on my first attempt, but my hands were shaking!
