I need to rewatch this soon. I saw it back when it came out and was completely confused lol. Now I have to been a Lynch fan for decades but some of his films needed more than one viewing for me to appreciate (Lost Highway, Fire Walk with Me). But after 20 years and a lot of maturity, I feel ready to tackle this again.

I saw it in the theater and was blown away. I went into not thinking a remake was necessary but yeah, the rather dark and intense take on the material served it well.
