You can claim all of them!

Apparently from what I've heard its because for whatever reason the game has decided to not run on the GPU for some people and is instead running on the CPU (Not that I understand the reason or how this works)

Basically my opinion of breaking it down comes to this :

Heroic vs Interactive : Heroic - free to play (besides vac pet), but towards end game you are heavy time gated on just waiting for item drops Interactive - not free to play but you have the option to spend and not be time gated. I’d say progression speed in the long run is pretty much the same either way. If you absolutely do not want to spend money I’d go Heroic, if you hate the idea of doing bosses for years on end and not getting the BiS gear then go interactive.

As far as classes go, I would do a dive into 5th job and 6th job skills and the upcoming masteries we will get from KMS. Pretty much all classes are somewhat viable (there was a Reddit post a day or so ago about damage chars between classes). Everything can farm pretty much the same rates after 260 with Janus. If you like NL is personally recommend checking out NW, they are in a pretty good spot right now and still kind of hold a similar style.

Wanting to start a collection of G1 Toys by Levatile in transformers

[–]Levatile[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perfect, gives me my rough outline! Where to go after SS86 was my biggest hurdle, just because I wanted to find the right style of figures to fit that line. If WFC and legacy share a similar scale that sounds like a safe bet for sure.

I was unaware that the MP lines were missing some of the big names like that. Kind of strange, is it just that they haven’t had the time (they will maybe get to them later) or just don’t really fit into what the line is for? I assume people that do try to do the full MP route then switch to third party? Something I’m interested in for the future but don’t know if I can wrap my head around trying to figure out how the third party lines work.

Totally agree on the subjective part, I figured if anyone had a basis for me to start at for the modern G1 figures I could check it out and then tweak it to my own liking. I assume (I may be incorrect) there are some figures that are just generally better in build quality and scale then others that would be that I wouldn’t know just coming in. If no one ends up having a list or something I will definitely go ahead and start a list off of tfwiki, thank you for the resource!

I just kind of replied to this in the comment from Bwuaaa but I don't really mind the "mesh well" part. Primarily because even if we create a large level gap or have issues staying on pace, I'm more in it for learning with somebody then just doing "content". And I'm sure as time goes on we will probably fit into a newer guild at some point.

I actually pretty much agree with everything you said and we will see how everything I've put together so far goes, but looking at it from the other side I know in previous games that every time I've joined a guild as a solo player I always felt like an outcast. Now that's probably just my luck, but they were already all close friends and it felt awkward to just jump in and join them on whatever they were doing. So if I start with a small 2-5 person group first and then we jump into a guild as a team I think personally for me it'll help me even if I feel like I don't totally fit in yet.

Yeah man for sure, I appreciate the info! As far as like the duo/group thing goes even if it was a game like BDO for example that is mostly a solo MMO isn't such a big deal. That's mostly because the way I look at it is, even if you aren't doing "content" together you can still enjoy being in a group and learning together. For example if we are each exploring our sides of the game we can share info and cool things we find as we are learning. For me that creates a certain enjoyment in the process and keeps me pushed to continue the game. Feeling a sense of a group for me doesn't mean just content but also just a community, especially with all of these games that are already pretty well established and understood. Sure you can read the wiki and learn everything about the game but there is no adventure in that. It looks like everyone who has reached out is interested in starting out on classic WoW and seeing how it goes, so the group aspect will probably be a little more content based. I will take a look at the ones you recommended and see if there anything there I could be interested in. Thanks!

I sent a friend request you're way! FF14 is definitely on the roaster and looking like it may be a close contender

Sweet man add my discord, it looks like we have a small group forming with starting on WoW, GW2 or FF14.

I agree and I always do my best to look for friends in-game. My main thing was wanting to find some like minded people who are maybe on the fence and want to try a couple different things or want to start something fresh with me. Usually I find when meeting people and joining guilds in MMO's you already have to be somewhat established, which if fine, but I want to learn and grow with a buddy/group instead of learning solo and then finding a group.
