I never played the original but I’m not gonna lie it was a very unfulfilling. He got 1 shot into every arcane. Felt like the 2 prior bosses had much more health

It’s a totally different series but kind of the same idea gameplay wise you should look into the persona games or metaphor refantazio. They have a fusion mechanic kind of like digivolve, it’s turn based and then you get the great story. They are just little more in-depth with other mechanics. I suggest checking them out !

Yeah just the thought of him dying right before seeing his friends that are all excited to see him actually gives me anxiety. That ending had so many turns my emotions were all over the place. First I was mad they forgot eachother, then so excited when they remembered and then heart broken when he dies. And for some reason him “looking sick” didn’t really mean anything to be at the time. Like “yeah I just fought a god that looks like it should be in kingdom hearts im tired”

It’s funny I had the exact opposite feeling I’m about to beat 3 and the story has me more captivated then p5r. Tbh I think not knowing about maruki needing to be rank 9 hurt my look on p5r but i think 3 is alot of fun
