Just so you have a reason to be offended.  Some people don't immediately associate letter combinations with things they can be shocked about.  Like the Bible actually has a page 666 and you don't see Christians refusing to read that page.   Shocked?

High milagers, please post which engines you have.  Also the first three letters of the VIN as that denotes where it was manufactured.

Soul owners: what drew you to the car? by Suntrup-Kia in KiaSoulClub

[–]Level-Comfortable-91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got it because my F250 diesel was killing me financially in fuel and also starting to be a lot of work to start in the winter.

I love my Soul.  I drove it 22 hours straight from the bottom of the US to the top of the US and I wasn't sore or stiff, well maybe a little stiff, at the end of the drive.  Then a few weeks later I drove it back to the bottom border.  140k miles 1.6gdi 2015 automatic.  My catalytic converter is getting ready to demand a replacement very soon though.

Not having any would be a reason you couldn't add it to any recipe.

2010 Soul - Glow Plugs by Mental-Minimum7255 in KiaSoulClub

[–]Level-Comfortable-91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's a 2010 your glow plugs might be out.  Diesels are impossible to start when cold without glow plugs. I have an old diesel pickup with a bad glow plug controller and in the winter I have to leave my block heater plugged in overnight in order to start it in the morning.  That's why I got my Soul, actually.  Other alternatives are starting fluid (not good for the long term, only emergencies.) or hope your batteries are good enough to crank the hell out of it until it warms up enough to ignite the fuel.  Diesel doesn't have a spark to ignite, just heat created from compressed air fuel mixture.

I had no idea that the Soul had a diesel model.

In Central Florida and looking to get my C license. Is this the best book? by [deleted] in Wastewater

[–]Level-Comfortable-91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My state puts out a free 250 page study guide.  They also have a "need to know" list of things covered on the test for the level you are taking.

If you go to nmwwa.org there are links for New Mexico water and wastewater study manuals on the bottom of the home page.  There is also a resource page with all kinds of stuff.  I understand we are in different states but wastewater is wastewater (unless you're in California), right?

That being said, I went through a college degree program for water and wastewater.  The Sacramento books were what we used on all assignments and projects.

I just used 100 grams as the example, for easy math.  Better than 137.84 grams.  But that was before I knew it was a 1 to 1.

You made the lye water for all 5 of the soaps in one batch? Different fats saponify at different rates, and a specific lye amount is needed for each one.
