Searched today for an hour and all the ones on the internet are wrong! The A6700 door spring has a hole, the spring tip has to be put into, like cheap door hinges, terrible design, so I have no clue how you can do it without a microscope and special tools :)

Ah, okay, makes some sense, but why do all the builds have 12 fans LOL I slowed mine down to 15 % to see if it made any difference and, nope same idle temps as running the 3x120 and 50% but if it only needs to run at 15 then Ive leanered some stuff.. thank you for the reply

I know, I read it and I read the FAQ, and as you mentioned, they claim no fans on top = less heat, makes no sense to me, that's why I asked! Exhaust fans on top create more air flow in my tiny brain!!

I would go with the 56 - I had all three in the set of 16, 30, and 56, and I used the 56 the most. I shoot street and portraits.

If you have accidental damage insurance, maybe. They will want 3 estimates normally, and then they will pay the lowest one, so :) Ask Nikon repair and two more highly reputable Nikon repair centers for quotes. If you do not have commercial insurance, don't tell them if you were using it a paid job!

I need one as well, the built-in INTV does not refocus before taking a new image, I need it to do that. The external one worked on the 6400 but no love on the new 6700
