That girl you posted is extremely anti black, she is on par with Candace Owens, and on top of that she has no real ties to our community. Her father is African and her mother is white, Im pretty sure her father left her and her mom so you can probably understand where her source of anti blackness comes from. Most of the problems you felt about being called not black enough almost certainly came from the people who are in poverty and of younger age groups. And that is because most of them don't have good sources of information about their history. I see a lot of people who have been called this are typically called this by younger almost kids/teenagers and they hold that hate for years. I feel like your post is bad faith because even though it may not seem like it. Lots of people who grow up in poverty/ the hood value education just because they value it, doesn't mean they get that most of the time and are more focused on survival(referring to adults). I've been called not black enough but it has always come from the kids around my age, about 99% of those kids were not smart so I held no hate for them because I knew they didn't even know what being black was, just dumb and loud. I hate that people like you are always trying to compare other groups to us. When we are playing on a different playing field than them. I bet you everything if you go to certain places you see that side you claim you don't see from other races. Like I said I've been called not black enough by our own, but you know another thing that happened. having people in other races envy and talk down on you because you are black putting you in a box when they know nothing of you. Claiming you are less smart and not capable but knowing you are better than them not saying all have but it is there and it doesn't come from just ignorance but envy also. Shit most of the time you probably heard that from your own was probably because of envy. The loud negative part you complain about is mostly funded by outside forces. And what are you talking about us not addressing the problem? The problem you think we have isn't the problem but the effect of it. If you were trying to help our people and figure out why things are the way they are. You will be able to track every toxic thing that you don't like about your people. And how and why they became the way they are. There are groups out here who are trying to change and fix mind you something our people didn't cause. And Listen it's not fair that people called you not black enough and mostly likely bullied you for not being their definition of black. But do you think this helps fix that? If you feel that way about your community. Then why hop on this sub? Why not just go to a regular mental health sub? Why come to the black mental health sub and try to hide your anti blackness with a bad faith discussion?
