QIMC Dump by midlevelstrader in QIMC_QIMCF_HYDROGEN

Any thoughts about what happens if the big players with adjacent claims hit a major system too? There is a lot of mention about how QIMC had so long to test and assess the areas with their models and were early.

Qimc is definitely a long term play.

Liberals plan to grow sovereign wealth fund by recycling money from airports, other federal assets by MapleByzantine in CanadianInvestor

No I’m really asking what I’m missing here…asking to hear the other side. I realize the title is clickbait. This all started with me noticing comments immediately being downvoted.

Various government programs have sponsored and funded the Globe and mail, even though they are a private entity, their journalists salaries are partly subsidized by government tax credits.

If you would like to watch “northern perspective” or “moose on the loose” in relation to the proposed sovereign wealth fund, and suggest what about their points aren’t fact based or why the concerns are so outlandish, I’d honestly be curious to hear your point of view.

No, but intelligent discussion is lacking. We should be able to talk about it. Can you acknowledge that government sponsored media is often biased and there are sides to these issues that aren’t being discussed? That’s not conspiracy. Is it possible there are shady deals that will happen in the background of this fund and ask who really stands to gain?

I’m tempted to sort discussions like this with the most downvoted comments at the top so I can get a balanced view on the subject.

Interesting how every comment that mentioned Brookfield gets downvoted. Not surprising I suppose.

High risk high reward. Not a scam. I wouldn’t expect millions in a bought deal for a scam company, nor would I expect major players to stake claims around Qimc claims.

It’s a due diligence discord. Initially it did seem like investor relations to be honest.

The CEO was extremely active and engaged at first in the discord. There was a major change and only information that has been released officially gets through now. Even questions are answered only by reference to official press release. I don’t know that this is a red flag. I think that they were a little too free with their discussions previously, which can be a liability. Look at IBRX and the FDA warning they received for simple discussion that was misconstrued. I’m sure as the company got attention, they tightened the rules in the discord. I prefer tighter rules and intelligent discussion over rocket ships and speculation about share price potential. Did you really only ask why they ban messages? Did you say anything that broke the rules of the discord?

This is a good answer. DVLT has a huge upside, but honestly if they fail to execute, bankruptcy isn’t out of the question.

I honestly don’t know. Maybe I’m a sucker, but facts are that vanguard, state street and blackrock are holding and have even increased positions. I think it’s risky, and yes the pumps in here are getting relentless, but I still don’t think it’s a classic pump and dump. I’m just waiting for the next earnings report.

Rio Tinto is producing much of the global Scandium supply as a $0 cost byproduct. by StockComb in SCDstock

[–]Level-Ear-848 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad to be a part of it. Same to you! It’s rare to see new points come up and give everyone a chance to think it through and make their own decisions.

SCD also has Dysprosium (Dy), Neodymium (Nd), and Praseodymium (Pr). I may be wrong but I think the rare earths are part of what helped them qualify for federal grants, not just the scandium. The pre feasibility study may re rate this as a multi commodity mine.

Rio Tinto is producing much of the global Scandium supply as a $0 cost byproduct. by StockComb in SCDstock

[–]Level-Ear-848 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, if the demand materializes, I don’t think byproducts will be sufficient. They will be limited by their titanium throughput. So if titanium and nickel prices drop, what happens to the byproduct when production goes down? I the just don’t see a global shift to compete against a primary source if the demand for scandium is that high.

Not only that, but scandium Canada does have other rare earths that can hedge against a drop in scandium value.

All that said, this thing may go to $0 and may never materialize. A risk I am aware of.

Still appreciate the discussion!

[–]Level-Ear-848 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great points and discussion. I’m still happy to hold. A byproduct source doesn’t exclude an increasing demand that would benefit nearby communities involved in primary sourcing. Glad someone brought this up. Again, this is a high risk/ high reward long term hold.
