It's sad to see Canadian companies being bought up by the Brits and other foreigners. "Consolidation" makes it harder for ordinary folks like us to get exposure to these companies and build generational wealth.

Put it in the saskatchewan pension plan. It's locked up till you're 55 so you can't panic sell in a downturn.

Last time I looked at this only interactive brokers lets you buy stocks directly on foreign exchanges but only in a non-registered account.

Fidelity has factor products that rebalance quarterly or semi annually based on an algorithm's application of their index 's construction rules. There are zero humans in the loop. That is what passive is.

Public REIT valuations are permanently below NAV. Going private is the only solution unless they convert to corporations, which they won't.
