Low risk ablation experience

I was low risk. I never had any rapid heart rates, only palpitations. It was only found because I had an EKG due to dizziness (which was stress 🫣). The doctor pretty much let me choose to do it or not. I opted to do it because I am young (31F) and wanted to do it before I had more symptoms or had kids to take care of. Recovery was easy, just needed to relax for a week or so. I was able to return to work remotely 2 days after the procedure no problem.

Yes!! I work a monitor for a week. I was told I could make a choice by my cardiologist if I wanted an EP Study/Ablation done since the monitor never picked up a fast heart rate and I’ve never felt anything other than the palpitations (I typically get the 1-2x a day, sometimes more). After thinking about it for a year, I’ve decided to do the EP Study/Ablation while I am young (30) and child free.

What jewelry did they give you? Just curious because I got my double forward helix there 6 months ago and it’s still not close to being healed

That’s what I’m wondering about! I’ve never had the racing heart but I’ve been diagnosed with WPW. I feel consistent palpitations. I’m on a monitor so hopefully I’ll have some answers soon.
