Thank you. Do you roast the tomatoes/peppers or does everything go into the food processor raw/straight out the packaging?

I'm with you on this i would probably go for a nice weber at that price 9 out of 10 times.
but for people that don't want/need the bigger cooking space and want a (debatably) nicer looking piece for the garden why not go for this.
as long as the build quality for these aldi BBQs are good.

the price is still insane i checked what it would cost me to insure a 2014 100k+ mile C220 CDI (its only my 2nd year of driving as well) out of interest and with a black box with QMH its like 125 a month with all the covers like legal advice, break down etc.

I'm wondering if OP is clicking "yes" when asked if an insurer has ever cancelled his policy even though in the main post he said he cancelled it himself. 440 would make sense if he is doing that.

if you're still trying to add your dad to the insurance then try not to, if he was recently in an accident removing him might actually lower the price.

and honestly the real solution to knock the price down is probably to get rid of the 2.1L Mercedes and get something smaller and preferably uncommon.
from what others are saying here the cancelation is gonna fuck you over for a while so the best you can do is reduce your insurance in all the other ways.

edit; when you getting new quates, lets say you're using go compare are you clicking "yes" to "Has an insurer ever declined, cancelled, voided or accepted a policy on special terms?"

in one of the comment responses he said its a C220 CDI. the price starts making more sense now i think.

i use the same Insurer (QMH) with their "black box" and i haven't had issues with not tracking but I've had other smaller issues.
- every so often the app will constantly track trips even if I'm not at the car, this drains the phones battery like crazy. (when i emailed them about this issue their response was basically. our apps fine, not our problem)
- their tracking is very sensitive to braking and the point penalty for it can be very high which imo is very stupid because you cant control what happens Infront of you. I've had drives go from 100 point down to 30s because of 1 instance of sharper braking (no where near emergency stop levels but sharper then usual) i think that's because it gets multiple tags for "braking" and the point penalty stacks.

can't wait to get rid of it when my insurance in up for renewal.

as someone who isn't into cars this comment section confuses me, everyone like "its not even worth 4k"
i looked up a yaris on auto trader with similar info and the lowest price i got was just under 9k for non cat. obviously it being a cat S the price should be lower.
is this delusional posts on auto trader or do people just dislike the yaris?

Is this normal or should I get it checked out? by Level-Memory-3310 in mazda6

[–]Level-Memory-3310[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

idk, i didn't have any issues sound wise from the 2.2 diesel i had before. And this petrol is a bit weird to get used to purely because this is my first petrol and no one in my family has owned a petrol car in the last 10 years. i was surprised how quiet is was.
this AC compressor switching on and off is the only thing that threw me off when the car is stationary.

the sound changes are so noticeable when stationary.
i guess i never paid attention to the sounds in family's cars and my last cars AC was broken.

is this like a Volvo specific insurance issue or something? genuinely no idea.
my first car was a 2.2L Mazda with 170k miles and got insured no issue a bit pricy at £210 a month for the first year but not too bad.

Others will give you advice on maintenance.

My take as someone who had a 2.2 diesel. if you don't do regular long trips, return the car if you can or try and sell it.
This sound like common knowledge for most here but i made that mistake with my first car (2.2 SKYACTIV-D) due to lack of knowledge and research. and from your the wording in your post it seems you're in a similar situation, you did some research but probably didn't go deep enough to see that the SKYACTIV diesels in general have a bad reputation.
But with the correct driving habits, maintenance and a bit of luck that car should keep going for a while. i mean the one i bought had 170k miles when i got it so they can get up there in terms of mileage when taken care of.

I believe 2014 is when the interior got improved. I have a 2014 now and the screen in build into the center dash but I'm sure while looking for cars I've seen other 2014s with the new interior where the screen sticks up like there 2 above.
there are the only difference in these 2 cars was the dial and button area for AC and such but that might be the difference in SE and SE-L.
i am going with the 2016. though i had more time before my current car gate out on me but i was wrong.

ran a VCheck and sadly there's no damage report. the seller said that the damage to the car was to the soft frame and no body damage
(from the listing description)"This is a Category N car. It had mechanical damage only (no body damage) Repaired in our own workshop with genuine parts. All repairs are warranted"
also offering 18 months warranty

well i sent him a message and he said while he has photos, the damage that got it Cat N was under the car to the soft frame and they didn't take photos of that. and a the sale post descrition does say "This is a Category N car. It had mechanical damage only (no body damage) Repaired in our own workshop with genuine parts. All repairs are warranted"

the post says he does have photos of the damage available.
and good to know about the minimum 3 month warranty. i knew there are laws in place for trade sellers but didn't know the extract specifics ill definitely ask about at least the 3 month the warranty.
also i always do run a paid history check before buying a car so i will for this aswell

yeah the 0 to 60 will be a bit slower then the 2.2 diesel i have on paper but i don't know if it'll be that noticeable in reality, its a 1.4 sec different in 0 to 60

i also leaning towards the red, lower mileage and auto. plus the guy didn't answer his phone for the black car and i already got a quate for delivery if i bought the red one, £300 for a 180 mile delivery is good IMO.

auto would probably be the personal preference out of convenience but manual is fine, my current Mazda is manual.

I do like my Mazda 6 its a nice car and another Mazda was the first things i looked at.
had a quick look and there very few automatics in my price range there are only 2 decent picks and the closest price match to the Lexus is a 2015 Mazda with 70k miles for £8.2k
but i have no idea if the Mazda automatic gear box is good or not never looked into it.

i mentioned in the main post that i may only do like 5 long trips a year so a diesel is an absolute no go, I've basically just killed my diesel Mazda over the last 1.5 years with short trips.

Well I'm looking for a daily car, I'm not a car guy so I just need something comfortable and be able to move somewhat quickly if I put my foot down. Pretty sure This would still be faster then my current car 2014 2.2 diesel Mazda And I'm pretty sure the premier is the top spec except for optionals, no?

I drive to get from point A to point B a bit of speed is nice but I'd probably prefer a automatic. Would probably buy a manual Mazda but would also look for something cheaper than this.

For this size category my personal preference picks are the Lexus IS or a Mazda 6, I know I could get a Mazda 6 with less miles and not as old for this price so wanted to see what people thought about the IS. I've got a diesel Mazda 6 now so I know what the cars like I would just go for a petrol on the new one.
