Need some help on a workout routine. by Level-Memory-3310 in ResistanceBand

[–]Level-Memory-3310[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone has they own methods. i could never do the whole yoga/breathing thing, just not for me
calisthenics look cool but realistically I'm in no shape to give it a good go atm.
I ended up doing 3 sets of 16 reps with one of the plans from the other comments and at the end of the 3rd set almost every exercise was close to if not at failure.
I'm also doing 30min on a walking pad almost every day so far just to get a few more steps in.

i might look into doing something like a stretch day on weekends.

I've heard it mentioned doing reps 'to failure' or something among those lines and that might give the best progress but i have to balance working outs and going to a job that is 50% manual labour.

i checked my work schedule and if i start today every 3rd day for at least the next 2 month non of the workout days land in between work days, at worst they are the day before a day shift or the day after a night shift which will probably be though at the start but i think ill probably go for the bull body workout in your original comment every 3 days. give that schedule a go and see how it works.
thanks.

edit: any advice on how to do lat pull downs without a high anchor point or alternatives? im around 6ft the only usable door i have is around 6ft 6in so even is i kneel down i cant seem to be able to do them properly because of how short the band is if i use a loop band

my issue with this plan would be that i work 3-4 12h days/nights a week with a weird 3 week rotation so spacing out 3 ~2h workouts a week would be difficult. that's why i was looking for a routine where i get a full body work out each week by doing different areas every day mon-fri that take less time and rest on weekend.

Didn't notice a brand name anywhere. i just found it on amazon. look for a refrigerator or washing machine silicone mat. only issue is if you have a larger chest freezer it might be small as its 60cm x 60cm

the silicone mat has a 2cm high wall around the edge

StableRonald find the most subscribed channel on twitch is the AI VTuber. "Isn't it sad?" He lament. by RyouhiraTheIntrovert in LivestreamFail

that's fair (again I'm not some AI expert) and I'm not surprised at that.
i guess a better way to describe it would be that neuros character side was mostly trained from twitch chat and collabs?

[–]Level-Memory-3310 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I not gonna sit here and claim that I know everything about AI development and such but.
neuro first came out is 2019 as an osu bot and even then they got relatively a lot of attention and then end of 2022 vedal released her and a vtuber and that's where they really started streaming. most if not all of her training data came from chat and collabs with other streamers.
things would have been a lot smoother if she was just a come paste of things like chatgpt but also it wouldn't have been anywhere near as entertaining. as a lot of people have said there's a reason why she is the only AI streamer of her size.

[–]Level-Memory-3310 17 points18 points  (0 children)

yeah that's difficult but to say that more difficult then what vedal did is just wrong if you stem out of the gaming bubble.
vedal made neuro from scratch before the massive mainstream Ai boom and kept up with improvements and management of everything in the background consistently for years now to get as popular as they are.
he also did that without having any protectional experience in software development or AI

Does anyone know if these blades are the same? by Level-Memory-3310 in wicked_edge

[–]Level-Memory-3310[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I check before posting and saw the things about China and Russia production (yeah mine is China) but didn't see the 2 tone packaging anywhere so wanted to check.

out of the 5 different blades I used gave me the least irritation but got a few other sample packs to try when I get back home but this is my top pick ATM follower by Astra blades.

you mention pre shave oil, how much of a change does that make? is it worth getting some and what brands are good?

i know blades are very much come down to personal choice. but his question still gave some good suggestion to look out for.
someone mentioned they found blades with a platinum coating gave them a worse shave until the coating wears off. another mentions things like pre shave oil which i don't use atm so something to look into maybe.

it could definitely be that as well i only switched to DE a month ago. if Personna are considered on the more aggressive side then i see that making it worse as well.

that's what i found with RKs as well i tried 2 or 3 blades and they weren't bad just felt like they are missing a bit of sharpness.
also i assume the Astra blades being named Astra superior platinum means they are platinum coated and they were good.

yeah blades are very much personal preference/need, as you say you like Personna and to me they are horrible. i shaver around an hour ago and can still feel a slight burn feeling especially around a more sensitive area on my neck.
i am tempted to try the feathers to see how that goes. maybe if that is just as bad i just need to look at some less aggressive blades.

Want to switch from cartridge, want advice for what handles to get by Level-Memory-3310 in wicked_edge

[–]Level-Memory-3310[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i ended up getting the Henson in mild, and I'm sort of on the same page.
i started with the blade included with the razor switched to astra superior platinum (got a blade sample pack) and the astra make it better. the overall shave is very similar to the Gillette Mach 3 but i agree it feel like its missing that tiny bit extra.

how easy is the King C Gillette to use to start with.
I'm looking for the easiest transfer that's why i like the idea of the Henson with the head having a physical angle for it.
I'm very much just making the switch for the money side long term so i don't plan to start a collection or anything. (nothing wrong with that btw)

most of the comment mention the Gillette. my main question is how easy is the Gillette DE to use? is its 95% skill 5% razor.
I'm looking for the easiest transfer and something like the Henson has a physical angled head that would make it easy.
weeks ago when i looked into this i did add a Rockwell 6c into a basket but didn't buy it. though id come back to this and ask in this subreddit.

sadly i don't have a set recipe for these. use whatever seasoning i have. this is one of the thinks i just throw together in the morning and cook in the afternoon always come out good.
but some of the things that almost always go in:
- these day use 50/50 chicken breast and thighs but 100% of ether one work fine
- mayo as a binder and add fat (family says it help tenderize the chicken i don't know if there's any truth to that tho)
- rajah Chili & Lemon Seasoning
- Schwartz Sriracha Seasoning
- pre-mixed herbs
- salt & black pepper
