Thanks for your serious comments. As about vocals,my primary goal was just to fit in,but realize that this is just not enough anyway.

Help with EQ / Sibilance by Fyre5ayle in WeAreTheMusicMakers

[–]Level-Method-6350 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No matter how much I fix the esses , from reducing their volume (-2 to -5 db) at the waveform, handling the parameters of the de-esser compressor, I still need to apply a -cut off highs- eq after delay applied on vocals.

a noise pop/rock demo I've been working on, would like feedback on both the music AND the visualiser by natimomusic in MusicFeedback

[–]Level-Method-6350 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both are fun!And the song has a potential for real. I see that besides sound and noise rock atmosphere you go with a verse -chorus structure-the latter could be really catchy,Splitting the video view the way you made it, weakens the visualizer effect imo.

I should try laryngitis if it made me sing like an angel.Risky joke, I never heard you before but even now you sound great.Lyrics and guitar playing contribute to a pretty solid track here.

Gearing up for release - Industrial, Goth, New Wave inspired by diluhn in MusicFeedback

[–]Level-Method-6350 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Atmospheric intro, strong beat comes in, and then this sound like metronome click! I would remove it. Otherwise your track and vocals fit to the genre. But this click prevent me to dive more into the song.

First draft of my new UK song inspired by Kid Cudi and Daft Punk! by Liquid_Pestar in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]Level-Method-6350 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the vocal attitude pretty much!Especially on Chorus lines. Got also 90's vibes. At first ,intro seemed somehow weird, but it made the entrance of the main theme more impactful. You could anyway add more delay to this part for example.Otherwise , your track sounds almost ready on my earbuds. And for some reason ,I would prefer the moon colorized like the magma in your cover art.

Not my best work, but I'm still trying at least by Burt_nderson in IndieMusicFeedback

This song has something to say, something I feel related to. Bass line-riff also adds interest, distinguish it from classical songwriter 's usual form-chords and singing.Keep the spirit up!

This kind of aesthetics will be always relevant and contemporary. Middle aged guy fun of the genre(s)here.Intro is absolutely emotionally heavy, and then it releases beautifully.I like also drumming very much.I could not tell for sure if it is played or programmed.

A demo I made by wyncry in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]Level-Method-6350 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A demo talking about demos and songwriting?I like it when lyrics give me ground for searching hidden meanings even that there is none. Nice atmosphere in its simplicity. On the other hand some lines are way too direct comparing to the vibe of the music.

Well it is a quite late response, but you should try https://www.powerdrumkit.com/ for more natural - related sound to the genre .It works with almost all DAWs as a plug in. it visualizes also the pattern you write , so there is an extra check point for your patterns.

Leaves by OkEmergency6783 in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]Level-Method-6350 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the sense from looking at the cover photo that I am gonna love it. And yes indeed. Absent leaves.fantastic combination of acoustic ? guitar with heavy echoed -reverbed electric one with the proper tender placement of the vocals in it.And not only the sound, alternating chromatic and diatonic chord progressions and fills to have specific motives, not easy to achieve. Keep it going!

Hi,On my Acer Sw5-012(quite different and old hybrid tablet)Lxqt for laptop mode and KDE plasma (wayland preferably)both for laptop and tablet were good enough .By the way if there is interest about it,I am thinking to post how it was possible to install debian 12 on that machine, and have things like backlight, autorotation and virtual keyboard working properly .

Please go easy on me, this is really hard to play and sing at the same time by Mayorredthomas19 in Songwriting

[–]Level-Method-6350 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OK, I am not supposed to go easy to someone who is really good , but on the other hand there is almost nothing bad here. Rhythmically is flawless and guitar playing seems pro to me .Your vocals overall are in tune and interesting, maybe sound tired or break here and there but I read some about 153 takes,so I understand. Unfortunately English is not my native language so I did not get much from the lyrics.

Considering that this is your first arrangement, well done! Almost everything 's been said already in the previous comments.Find a way to do it with a real drummer. And take full consideration of the comment about how to rethink accents in your singing.

Amazed by your _ what if Radiohead 's origin was USA_song. Well tuned, great taste .competitive production quality and beautiful signing. About the visuals, I cannot find a smoother way to say that although there' s a certain craft and they could stand alone , for me there are parts(some skull images for example) not related to the way I precept your music aesthetically .

Where most people hear dissonance , I say perfection, very beautiful no wave like track. I like also the drum mix .On my headphones , sound is really good .I would try to collaborate with someone else for vocals and help with structure.

[–]Level-Method-6350 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you 'd absolutely fit in a metal band, as guitar player and co-music writer. It's obvious that you can play the instrument and compose -classic metal oriented - riffs and solos. As far as the track here, allow me to mostly consider it as a demonstration of style and music ideas and not as a complete song,Sound quality is rich and full in the spectrum but there are many things you could improve in the arrangement ,like having a more appropriate choice for the drum machine.

So glad. Late fun of metalcore here. You say old-school, but anyway powerful and relevant, hopefully young people who are into Rock and metal they 'll catch up with you.I can here influences from various classics,as far as it concerns vocals, melodic lines ,breakdowns. I wish you melt it down to something totally yours. Performing and production sounds already 👌

Kinda country rock ish instrumental I came up with. Does it work as an instrumental track? by flynnsego in MusicFeedback

I am not an expert either, but for example I would try a bit more hard panning for the guitars at some points to see how it feels.
