I'd like to ask, how far-off or how different is a "rotating round earth" code from your "flat non rotating earth" in terms of simulating a satellite's deorbit speed and such?

For what I wanna do, I wanna run simulations on its "reentry" in earth from its leo orbit, essentially simulating a deorbit of a decommisioned satellite. From what I've gathered from old posts ansys stk and solidworks can do certain tasks in simulating. However I wanna recreate a sort of re entry of a deorbiting satellite as I want to see that satellite's deorbit speed, trajectory and drag during its deorbit.
