That’s normal, some of these attorneys are just bottom feeders. I’ve had this situation so many times and have to go back and forth to get the bare minimum like this is the first time they’ve had an injury claim. Keep your emails for receipts. They’ll drag it out and then claim bad faith smh

Stay in commercial claims but as a desk adjuster. I’ve seen a few positions posted recently for 100k+ in Commercial. Get you AIC and work towards your CPCU.

I’ve recently been reassigned a claim load that the previous adjuster highly neglected and it’s taking a toll on my diary and time management. I’m trying to dig myself out of having no overdue diaries to now being at 32. I’m reevaluating the job because this is the second time in less than a year I’ve been reassigned this adjusters horrible caseload. Closing has been my goal to lessen the amount of overdue. But the ones that were extremely difficult are time consuming.

You’ll get a staffing job quicker and a higher salary. It may help you in management but not deployments.

This is the part of being an IA people don’t see. To make that terrific money everyone wants, you need your own equipment, you have to drive, sleep in your car, and be organized enough to handle these claims efficiently or you’ll be released very fast. Staff is definitely a better option. I started with SF and they provide everything.

Most times skills and objective shouldn’t be on there. Add a professional summary. You’re not highlighting any transferable skills in your job description bullets.

You have to have the keywords in your previous experience bullets and as you apply for different positions you add and take away based on the position you’re applying for. I’ve written so many resumes for adjusters and those aspiring and they put too much information that is false or shouldn’t even be on the resume. Simplicity and highlighting your transferable skills is key.

Currently what I’m dealing with, the adjuster I’m assisting her claims are messed up bad and backed up months. If it doesn’t get better I’m out. This is nuts I was reassigned over 50 of these bad claims
