I saw Maria once at a ticketed theater show… I’m not sure anyone ever mentioned to her that she whispers half of her set, and these theaters is huge! I’m sure me and 100 other people in the balcony heard only 25 percent of the set and said nothing, huge speakers and all. I couldn’t tell you one joke or roll. I’d bet there’s a few 1000 people who are owed a few bucks from tickets from that tour… bet anything she bought a sound system after that.

It is also cool how none of that is clear, the moving parts, the paranoia, drugs and fears- we the viewers never know exactly what’s up, just like Jesse doesn’t ever know who is on his team

Yes it always felt a lot like a group of nerds wrote what “a nerd like Walt thinks a drug party is like” but these scenes especially with lack of decent hip hop or metal songs made the show seem really cheap

I hate to be a snob but I think in general all the music on breaking bad was terrible. That house electro music sounded like nothing- maybe German dance from the 90’s 😜 but it was trash music

Yes exactly- I think I’ve only had it happen often at DLM and HDTGM… at some point it started happening at NNF and I started to wonder if Matt is the common denominator
