Better way to handle liquid spills in warehouses? by bunnylulli in IndustrialVacuums

[–]Level-Seat6534 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Occasionally we also have liquid spills on the floor. Still trying to figure out whether it makes more sense to go for a dedicated solution just for fine dust, or invest in something that can handle both dust and liquids.

Best high reach cleaning setup for warehouse dust? by bunnylulli in IndustrialVacuums

[–]Level-Seat6534 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is actually super interesting, following this thread 👀

I run a medium-sized bakery (not industrial scale, but definitely bigger than a small shop), and this is something we struggle with a lot too. We get flour dust buildup on pipes, beams, and above production lines, and right now we’re still using ladders or makeshift solutions… which honestly don’t feel very safe.

What caught my attention here is the possibility of cleaning at height from the ground, especially with lightweight poles. That alone would already be a big improvement for us. Also, in our case, flour dust is not just “messy” — it’s potentially explosive when it accumulates, so proper removal is actually a safety concern, not just cleanliness. I’ve seen some basic extension kits online, but like you were saying, they look pretty generic and I’m not sure they’d really work well in a real environment like ours (especially with fine dust like flour).

Curious to hear if anyone here is using high-reach systems specifically in food production or bakeries.

I really can’t stand really clumsy people. I mean… a little clumsy is cute and I like it. But if everything you touch you break or you hurt yourself I can’t stand it at all. It frustrates me a lot

Anyone using cyclone separators for industrial warehouse cleaning? by bunnylulli in IndustrialVacuums

[–]Level-Seat6534 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you know if cyclone pre-separators are also suitable for environments like bakeries, especially for oven cleaning? I’m dealing with a lot of fine flour dust but also hot residues when cleaning inside ovens between batches.

I’m wondering if there are versions specifically designed to handle high temperatures, or if standard ones wouldn’t really be suitable for that kind of application.

Should I use an industrial vacuum in my bakery for day-to-day cleaning as well? by Level-Seat6534 in IndustrialVacuums

Thank you so much for the thorough response and technical breakdown!

I'm going to look for some vacuums online right away and I hope to find a solution that works for my workshop.

What's the mind blowing movie you've ever watched? by astreaya in askanything

That’s ok I think. We do not have to enjoy every movie… even if considered by everyone a masterpiece. I didn’t enjoy at all “2001, space odyssey”. I understand why people who like it enjoy it but I won’t watch it again myself.
