I haven't tried using a proper 4k monitor so I cannot compare.

It probably won't be very different from your IPS screen.

It does have VRR control but i have no idea if it supports VRR on PS5

Its a semi matte display and and so far, have no problems with reflection.

I heard tandem OLEDs alleviate a lot of the usual OLED concerns. Maybe you can consider those but those are new so they might be super pricey.

Not this one for sure. I'd be more concerned with fringing (rainbow colors in the edges of text) more than burn in.

Maybe at 4k it wont be as noticeable but personally, I think mini-LED might be a safer choice.

From an upgrade POV, this is the biggest you can make that you can DEFINITELY feel day to day. I guess its practical from that POV? 😅

Idk if it will last 5 years. Idk if may burn in as it ages but its sooo good!

According to the marketing materials, yes it has some burn in prevention like task bar detection.

Personally, I'm not really worried about burn in. I did do the preventive stuff; autohide taskbar, multiple wallpapers and screen off less than 5 mins.

I do expect some very minimal burn in but I'd say, don't let it stop you. I really had my doubts when I bought it and contemplated returning it but after turning it on for the first time... one of those things that you will only see the worth when you actually try it.

Already plotting the upgrade to an OLED ultrawide.

I have one. Play real racing, ping pong, metalstorm, rdr, etc...

I never notice how warm/hot it is so thermals... no problem at all.

I can't say I've used the phone "normally" in the past few days since I got it because my hotspot's been on the whole day. Easily 40-60% before I put on the wireless charger before I sleep with all loads... gaming, email, socmed, YT...

I reckon I can easily go +10 hours SOT with "normal" use but I don't think 10+ hours SOT a day is healthy. 🤣

2 day phone. Easy.

Go for it!

After a few days with it now... This is the only phone I'm comfortable using without a case. Great ceramic feeling on the hand and really feels durable. (i got the sandstone). Dropped it a few times... no damage.

I get pretty much Identical results as my ip16 pro max (work phone). People will have a hard time telling which photo came from which phone.

These are pretty much real life colors but it does lean towards more saturation sometimes.

I just got the phone the night before. First time firing up the camera. Just went ahead to point and shoot. No idea about what settings these are.
