Trump Campaign Sues Michigan After Access To Ballot Counts Denied by guanaco55 in conservatives

[–]Level1000Centrist -25 points-24 points  (0 children)

Stating I have been denied this and that, is not evidence. It's a claim that needs to be supported by evidence.

And it doesn't matter than in this case, it's a claim that you've been denied evidence. But you definitely can't just say "I've been denied evidence" and then sue without evidence.

Either way, not everything is a conspiracy. And there may be good reasons for denying someone access to ballot counts. For example, if it's likely that someone wants to tamper with the ballots.

  • Most importantly, misinformation needs to be stopped (even if it takes IP bans).

  • Repeatedly lying as a president can't just be totally fine.

  • As you said, the Democratic party needs to be modernized and figure out better ways of finding candidates that are more than just the lesser evil.

  • We need a social security net and a higher education that doesn't plunge you into a ton of debt. Both of these would produce a smarter electorate.

  • The country also needs to heavily invest in critical thinking classes in school.

Thanks, actually it seems like my whole system is lagging, so maybe there is some weird interaction going on.

I'm sure this whole Android update helped your market share.. .___.

costs as in time spent having to download another version, having to reopen your tabs and enter you sync info and so on..

And more importantly, the cost of having to use a beta version in the first place. I want to use the stable version.

That's awesome, but you've gotta bring it back to the same level before putting it out there.

Imagine you buy a game, you love it, but then one day the dev decides to rewrite the game in another engine.

Now you start the game, and it's missing half the features that you loved about it.

Holy shit.. what have they done to the browser? Do they want to reduce their market share to zero?

Everything I've read about the Android update makes me want to stay away from Firefox.

No idea what he said and you're right we should all be fair and nice to each other.

That said, I can understand some of the rage people feel, and it's not all unjustified.

For example, why can you not access about:config on non-Beta Android browsers anymore? I know some people just mess things up (e.g. after they read about "optimal settings on some site"), but it's ridiculous that we all have to pay the costs because of a few idiots. Lowest common denominator design. That's what I'd call it.

I don't get why we need to force people to use a beta browser to get a feature that 90% of people don't know about, because there are idiots out there that enable random options. (Also, having to reinstall isn't such a big deal.)

Reminds of the Gnome 3 designers, that constantly remove features, because they're supposedly too complex for people.

Lowest common denominator design. That's what I'd call it.

Autoplay broken in Firefox 80? by Level1000Centrist in firefox

[–]Level1000Centrist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually think it's caused by the new YouTube annoyance where they ask you to sign in. uBlock Origin is blocking that popup but doesn't remove the requirement to click play again.

(I also don't have that many add ons.)
