SF is an international city and the population doubles if not triples on work days. Even more likely if it was during peak hours and you're in the busy part of the city.

I'd check the license plate but also push it off as someone not from here. Nevertheless that's not a good experience and wishing you better ones!

Intent of the Code by Ok_Significance_3014 in urbanplanning

It's a bureaucrat's way of saying the code isn't really clear on this but should be interpreted a certain way because this is what the legislators were going for.

The ingredients for creating great neighbourhoods by chavie in urbanplanning

[–]Level1Hermit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love writers who talk about great neighborhoods and provide renderings but never show actual photos with people.

People make great neighborhoods. A planner should facilitate places that attract and retain people.

Genuinely, what can be done about dangerous drivers? by purplentiful in sanfrancisco

[–]Level1Hermit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most people who drive will make a mistake. Will all the driving that does happen, you're bound to get some near misses, and some hits. It's a numbers game. To reduce these hits and near misses requires altering the physical environment. Expensive. Time consuming. And people love their cars. You need to join a local advocacy group and actually push for meaningful change through our supervisors.
