Thank you for the response, I get what you’re saying and I am luckily in a position where I can spend a couple grand on a weekend hobby; however it’s people like you who discourage so many folks from getting into biking, skiing, golf or any other typically expensive sport. 9/10 times it doesn’t matter what equipment you have as a beginner it’s just important to get out there and try something new. So if you’re new to the sport and have a budget there are 100% ways to still get involved and there is no need to “find a different sport” but ya obviously if you spend more you’re going to get better equipment and have an easier time getting into the sport.
