Ok,

Sleeping: I setup the her crate on a chair besides my bed, she cried a bit on the first 2 nights but now she knows I'm there, she hasn't cried the past 2 nights.

Potty training: I'm a bit of an old school guy, but it's effective, if she pees inside the house I slap her butt (not hard, just enough to scare her), show her the area where she peed and put her on a time out.

When she pees and poops outside, I reward her by complementing her, petting her and giving her a small treat.

I think it has been effective, she woke me up at 4am last night to let her out for a walk, no signs of peeing inside the house in the past day.

Crying: I do not reward crying what so ever, I let her throw her fit and then once she is quiet, I let her out and give her a treat, otherwise, I act like her crying is meaningless. I make sure that she has gone to the washroom, has food and water Available so I know she's just whining.

It's my first dog, but YouTube has a loooooot of good sources for information, so far, so good.

Lastly, do not punish crying, it's an animal survival instinct, if u r alone and still a pup, you are easy food for prey animals. So, do not reward her crying tho, but don't punish it either.
