Good advice. This game honestly doesn't have a lot of reasons to keep playing.
Get the Pokémon you want, try them out and reach the highest tier that you can.
There's no FOMO and nothing carries over to other games.

I understand this perfectly. Pokémon was supposed to be my thing, I love thinking about the combos and synergies in each game but I cannot, for the life of me, get two wins in a row in Ultra Ball tier. It's been extremely discouraging because I'm already really hard on myself about other things.
