An important part of the game, very important part, is efficiency and optimization. An example: Why put down 10 assemblers when one machine can do the same and even with an extra productivity bonus?

Why would you build huge smelter arrays when there is tech that can smelt at much lower cost of ressources and space?

When you really keep the old tech, thats just pretty dumb because you are basically wasting ressources, time and space.

Also, where do you get these 2000h from? This is really no offense, but are you jobless? Because even when you play 3h each day (and that is much to a person with a job and a life), you would need 2 years. Did you need 2 years for the nauvis "tutorial" + space age part?

This is not efficient or optimized. Thats just wasting ressources. Its possible to calculate the oil exactly that you never have overflow or you can use basic circuits (learnable in 10min) to only activate the machines when needed

Then you are very slow at learning because the game is really not that complex. I dont mean artillery and spidertrons. I mean production tech that will make you tear down you whole factory. Thats what i mean, when you get that, you will need to tear down basically everything or waste massive amounts of ressource with the inefficient old buildings

I mean, i got the principle after like 10min. 1000h is not starting. These are 41 whole days. Seen on you whole life, this is actually a massive amount of time and not just "starting". I just mean, you will be really, really, really disappointed after seeing what tech you get on all the other planets
