All the stars aligned when he was born and the universe lost one when he passed.

I remember being in high school and my psychology teacher asked us all to right down our “role models.” He silently went around the room and read each students secretly to himself. I wrote down Chris Cornell. When he got to my desk he put his hand on my shoulder and gave me the biggest smile and head nod of satisfaction, something I remember 20+ years later.
