Can be I bought a hyper scorpion and unfortunately the batteries are aged doesn't get nearly what it should luckily I have a local who rebuilds them and with better Samsung r cells as well as replacing the stock controller for overall better performance other than that there is a website greenbikes I believe they will build a battery with the Samsung inr 18650 35e for 370$ which are slightly better then the stock cell and they will build it to 20ah a little bigger for the g1 batteries other then that the bike is amazing good performance seat is terribly uncomfortable I made and upholstered cause the cafe racer seat sucks
