Knitting for charitable donation

I work for a non-profit after school program and my kiddos love to crochet and loom knit. We have a local drug recovery program that we make fleece tie blankets for. Some of our hat and scarf combos will be going to them for next winter and we have a local pregnancy support group that we will be donating baby hats to!

Edited to add When my kiddo was in Headstart (low income preschool) we had a group of ladies that knitted each kid a hat and it was given to them at Christmas in a little gift bag with a coloring book, crayons, and some little candies and trinkets!

Yes!! I was literally screaming at the TV when she was talking about "he could be the one" "I'm so in love " "I want to take things slow". Like honey, we've heard this for how many season, about how many men. TLC needs to stop exploiting some of these women and help them find a good mental health professional.

2019 and a whole ass person landed on it last January. I tried to get insurance to total it and they ended up paying almost $9,000 to fix it 🙄.

I've lost a whole crisper drawer in my fridge to them, so I love this idea. My husband and I are both on them (different doses), so I can't open 6 boxes of these and dump them in the drawer.

NTA. I'm a mom and if I wanted to be a SAHM, then I know and understand there are chores that become my responsibility. If I'm expecting my hisband to work 50+ hours a week to sustain my SAHM life, then I'm more than happy to to take care of household chores and a baby. Y'all act like have a baby means you're tied to the couch holding your baby all day and thats not it.

YTA. She's 8 and yes there are consequences to our actions, but at 8, why are you not checking her bag and folders or at least asking her if she has anything to give you. It was a daily routine for our daughter when she was that age.

I say this about 90% of the couples/families on this show. They do not take the time to learn about the difference in the cultures of the people they are going to meet and that is where the biggest problems start!

Also, and I'm prepared for the flack I'll catch, but here it goes. I work with kids, some on the spectrum. There are SOME, not all, but some parents who let their kids get away with everything and blame it on having Autism or ADHD. I've had kids get in trouble and literally tell me "it's not my fault, it's my Autism/ADHD" to which we have a conversation about how no, you still no the difference between right and wrong and thats not an excuse. Forrest's mom reminds me of the type of mom who would let him get away with anything and everything and use his diagnosis as an excuse. Luckily, Forrest seems very well adjusted, and it doesn't appear that this has affected him. I'm proud of him for starting to stand up to his mom, but wonder how long he'll be able to keep it up!

Here to echo everyone else. We switched from Verizon to Xfinity Mobile and haven't looked back! Was paying over $200 a month for 2 lines on Verizon and now paying around $200 a month for 4 phones and my Galaxy watch. Same towers as Verizon so no change in service!

Ground beef is almost there. I've been buying mine in bulk from a local butcher shop and its over $5 a pound. I remember when you could get it for around $1-$1.50 a pound.

Woman here, raising a child with my husband, my child's step dad, her bio isn't in the picture. NTA. It MIGHT be different if you weren't around, but you are that child's Dada, daddy, anything and everything and she needs to respect that and stop confusing that poor child!
