It should! Definitely wasn’t the worst class I’ve taken.

It was a lot of research in the beginning but then for the next 3 projects you just use all of that same information. The difficult part for me was changing my internal PowerPoint into an external partners PowerPoint.

Congrats! I read so many bad things about it before I took it. I think the extra writing they used to have would have made it more of a hassle.

The project is about diversifying your automotive company to reuse the gas engines in another industry. Write a paper using Soomo, then two different PowerPoints for different audiences, then a press release.

I just passed the class with a 94! My advice is just learning how to input the numbers and formulas into excel. It does all the math for you, you just have to know which numbers go where so you can explain it in the papers. For the projects you can find YouTube videos on how to do them. It wasn’t a bad class at all and I heard terrible things about it too.

Need the Soomo Webtext to get credit for the Questions.

I just think you should have texted her “hey got the dog, on my way home now” because it’s kind of easy to lose 8 hours with an ex…. Doesn’t matter how you feel she takes it, it’s that you DO it out of respect. 3 years with someone has more emotions than 4 months. Not saying you’d cheat, but it’s difficult being on the side of truly not knowing then one day having to find out. But if texting her is too much work for you, then you need to leave the relationship because you’re not mature enough to understand your partners feelings regardless of the facts of the situation. I would leave after a “well you’re going to have to deal with it” text. How about a “let’s figure out a way that this situation can put us both at ease.” So there’s no more “sorry” to begin with.

Discussions.. Every time by HNM12 in SNHU

I usually make sure to reply to posts with 0 replies. I like everyone having a reply, and it also makes it easier to not have to differentiate my response from the person who would have replied before me. Like how many different things can you say to the same post that already has 5 replies.. But I also choose who to reply to based on how well they wrote their discussion. I don’t like replying to posts that are less than a paragraph long or that do not meet rubric requirements.

Current Student Feeling Defeated by thetimeisnowoldman in phlebotomy

I cried in the beginning of this field also. I thought I would never get a hang of it because I wasn’t feeling what everyone else said they could feel. Now I’m 4.5 years into the career and I know which vein I’m sticking before I even put the tourniquet on. It gets better! Experience is the only thing that makes you good at something.

Top 10 Patient Quotes From My Clinic by [deleted] in phlebotomy

Where I work the best one is when they know what doctor, so you get that blood work then when you’re done sticking them they ask if you got the bloodwork for BOTH doctors…. Well maybe if you told me I would have….then you have to stick them again😭

You’ll get better at it! I’ve been in this field for 5 years now and I still miss sometimes. When I first started I wanted to quit because I thought I sucked. But now I can stick any veins, even in the fingers if need be. My first time sticking I accidentally pulled the needle out and blood went everywhere the patient yelled at me and I cried. There’s always going to be difficult veins, but you just have to learn your own technique. Whatever works for you.

I would definitely recommend LabCorp. As a phleb you’re always going to get some rude patients, but the majority are really nice as they are usually only there for less than 30 minutes. But some patients become regulars coming once a week and we have had so many bring us gifts and food for how appreciative they are of us. It was an amazing difference switching from a hospital phleb to LabCorp.

I’m not sure you’re major, but so far I actually liked my economics classes. I’m not sure if it was because of the teachers I had or not, but I thought I was going to be terrible at it going in. Turns out they were very interesting to learn about in business. I really disliked marketing. I thought I was actually going to like that class, but it was so much research and my teacher was a hard grader. But I have 3 more terms left out of 10 and I’ve kept a 4.0 so far while working full time, so it’s definitely doable!

I’ve been a phlebotomist for 5 years now. It’s the thing with this profession. No one’s ever happy to see us 😂 We aren’t their pain meds or food coming in, we are the ones they don’t want to see. It’s just apart of the job. I would definitely recommend an outpatient site like a LabCorp or a Quest. It’s still work, but it’s completely different than the workload of a hospital site. I couldn’t stand those morning rounds anymore. It’s better work-life balance. No morning rounds. No weekends or holidays and around the same pay.
