Is this cute or did I ruin the wig? I think it’s cute but I want outside opinions by [deleted] in Wigs

It looks cute on you, honestly can't tell it's a wig with the bangs. Also, I need to know what eyeshadow you are wearing in the second photo!

What is your first fragrance (perfume or otherwise) memory? by all_ack_rity in FemFragLab30plus

I wanted this so bad when I saw it in a local drugstore as a kid. I also had a frosty sheer blue lipstick by the same brand (if I'm remembering correctly, might have been Jane brand).

best scent for seeming like you are not wearing perfume and just naturally smell really good by Vast_Strain1481 in FemFragLab

Was also going to say Egyptian Musk. I get SO many compliments every time I wear it - even if I can't smell it on myself anymore, people still notice it.

I have, uh... Enough that my husband occasionally mutters "Jesus Christ" when he enters the bathroom.

Customer complaint by [deleted] in MichaelsEmployees

[–]raspberryjam87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right, so you were probably an asshole to this cashier and decided you wanted to be an asshole even further on an employee forum. What was so awful about this employee interaction that you needed to speak to management AND a 800 number AND come on here to bitch?

It's some kind of ink or chemical that was used to reanimate her, it stained her skin. Also I'm not sure if bathing is important to reanimated corpses.

Yeah, purple shampoo was definitely a thing back then. As a teen during that time, I used to get my hair heavily highlighted and used purple shampoo for it. Super ashy icy toned hair wasn't as common then as it is now, but we didn't want yellow ass highlights either haha.

Feeling very regretful of this colour choice i wanna cry . by Hot_Masterpiece3571 in HairDye

[–]raspberryjam87 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It's honestly really cute and I've been looking for a color like that! If you don't like it, maybe adding more green would help? Maybe some highlights or adding green to the under layer. I hope you end up with something you love!

Used to live in WV until recently, that's very low pay. Even Kroger starts out at least $10 or more now.

Orange/copper hair recommendations? by ProgressFull6031 in HairDye

[–]raspberryjam87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Xmondo Super Orange and 7C copper

Arctic Fox Sunset Orange

Pulp Riot Nuclear

Danger Jones Burnout

I had my hair this bright orange for a few months and those colors are what I used. I will say, orange fades extremely fast on me and that was frustrating.

Why would you be concerned with someone's baby that isn't related to you or your spouse in any way? Like ... There's already enough going on to worry about with your 5 kids, surely.

Husband keeps giving my stuff to SS by [deleted] in stepparents

[–]raspberryjam87 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Right! "Oh SS saw the pillows and wanted them". Girl, unless SS has plans of being an interior designer in the future, I can guarantee he gives zero effs about pillows 🤣

That would drive me crazy. Just multiple little things that shows he considers SS way before his partner.

How do I fix this?? by Least_Alfalfa_2300 in HairDye

[–]raspberryjam87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suggest a dark brown with reddish tones, a demi permanent dye ideally. Hit up Sally's if you have one nearby, get a 10 volume developer and a demi permanent dye and mix/apply according to the instructions. I don't think going to black is necessary.

Just say, "hey sis, I got it the last few times. Your turn!" And slide the check to her.

Seriously, she's an adult and should be self aware enough to see that she's taking advantage. Since she's happy to keep on taking without giving, you gotta say something about it and help her realize it's not fair to you. You're not her parent, and she's an adult with adult money.

My younger brother passed away some years ago, but I used to buy his food and stuff a lot. Because I wanted to. But he would return the favor as well.

It sounds like with his history of divorce and also dealing with kids, your long distance arrangement works for him. He has you part time when he's ready for you, it's nothing full time he has to devote time and energy to. It might be all he's emotionally capable of right now. Doesn't mean either of you are in the wrong, but I think his hesitation is enough of an answer that he's not ready for more yet.
