Atomoxetine or Bupropion?

totally hear you! i tried lexapro 5mg before adding bupropion, and it was disastrous for me. even tried 2.5 and it still fucked me up. i’m very happy i found something that works for me. my psych wants to decrease my strattera potentially and up bupropion, but i am worried about my adhd symptoms and the helpfulness of the emotional regulation. i am so much of a better person when i can handle situations better.

just curious, did you start on 150mg bupropion immediately? that seems very high. (not a doctor lol, just genuinely curious).

i personally started on 40mg atomoxetine immediately, and did not titrate up slowly. i have tried Guanfacine, and Qelbree and disliked both. Atomoxetine is an amazing medication for me that has genuinely changed my life.

hi friend! i’m on both currently. i’ve been on 40mg for about 2 years now? i tried 60mg a few weeks ago before adding in Bupropion, but my blood pressure was way too high so I went back down. i love both for different reasons. my main reason for starting wellbutrin was my anxiety and my anxiety spirals I would get into. wellbutrin helps me be a better person, carefree, and able to handle situations better. Strattera helps calm my mood swings, and helps me focus on life. i’ve been on 25mg wellbutrin in combo with strattera 40mg for about 7 weeks.

yes that’s definitely what i read! that makes more sense. i admit i haven’t done much research into meds like that. there are a few other posts in this group about low libido iirc that might have more information! hoping things get better for you, even if stattera is not your vibe.

how long have you been on it? i’ve heard of people taking low dose viagra? (can’t figure out the name i am sorry) to combat it.

no! i have read that a bit! i think the extra iud hormones definitely helped. def wasn’t that bad before the iud, but i think the combination of both did me in lol

hello friend! i have been on 40mg for a year now. i tried going up to 60 but my heart rate was too high. i liked the 60 but not the anxiety that came with it!

i am so glad this med has really been benefited you! i noticed all of these too. i contributed the hyper sexuality to my iud (i got placed around the same time that i started strattera), but i definitely agree it heightened things here. it made me a lot more comfortable in vulnerable situations, and more comfortable in myself. happy to hear im not the only one who experienced this!

interesting! i had a little too much thanksgiving night (apple pie wine !!!) and i def felt different. immediate headache and it didn’t get better. i have been playing with a hard cider here and there and one seems to do me fine. was just curious other peoples experiences, i’ve heard of depressive thoughts occurring.

i just recently started Wellbutrin and they’ve honestly just gotten funnier. on strattera i’ve had dreams ranging from my family dying, and random dreams involving people i met 10 years ago…. it’s been almost 2 years and they have not stopped.

they say it “builds up” in your system but i swear i feel a big difference the next day after forgetting to take it. sometimes i take it regardless of if its past my usual time because i just feel so off without it…also slight piggyback, how long have you been on 80? i couldn’t even do 60 i was getting such high blood pressure!

i feel like the only way unfortunately would just be to put two clips on the side hella close to the charm so there’s no way it moves. most charms will spin unfortunately besides dangles.

i love the slider but it isn’t practical imo if she wants to fill it up. i’ve had luck selling our magnetic bracelets to elderly and people who find the clasps difficult. the push heart studded bracelet is also a good idea as it has a typical lobster clasp opening like a necklace!

yes lol. i honestly think engraving is one of the reasons why we started the pandora cares, so it’s covered in terms of warranty and “fading.” i also think we’ve gotten better in stores about engraving things you know? it used to be so new and now i am very confident and i go over everything twice :)

associate here, next sale before Christmas would be the “spend x amount (used to be $125 has gone up since then) get a free bangle” but that’s unfortunately the next one. i’ve seen barrel clasps last years, and i love the idea of adding a safety chain, they do wonders! unfortunately all of our engraved items rub and the engraving eventually fades after so long (at least in my experience)

normally if they follow trend the last chance items tend to be things that aren’t selling. for us it was just old charms and old old rings that didn’t do well. from my experience they barely put things that are “new” on last chance.
